As stated by Frankie himself, it seems that we will not be getting a beta.
I believe that this can be disasterous…when you take a look at how smoothly and clean Halo 3 and Halo: reach’s multiplayer did on the first day its pretty safe to say that a beta would not be a waste of time.
Take Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 2 for example…the community was outraged at how buggy and glitchy the game was on the first day, some even seling it in the first months of release. Many other games have also sufferd the same bug infested fate as MW2 did.
343 please hear me out on this, a beta will not be a waste of time, your comunity, your fans, are crying out for a beta. We need hope that Halo can stand its ground against all the other AAA games in the indestry. I know I may just be one guy trying to save his childhood game from becoming…sob…mush, but if we all band together, we might, just might have a chance of having beta testing…
I don’t think a beta I necessary, they stated they are doing a lot of internal testing and that diverging their resources to make a Beta would impede the progress of the game. So yeah, I don’t really want a beta.
343 can be deceitful. However If there is no beta then that’s their loss for hype. If they produce no public beta they probably can work with testing it themselves.
