Seems this has happened to a few people reading, same just happened to me, Started H2A The Armory mission, Save & Quit to take a break; now upon resume it puts me back on Halo (Mission 2) - Playlist shows 11/45 complete.
Appreciate there is no fix at the moment, but just another person effected to add to the list - it would appear certain missions/checkpoints reset progress.
Almost a year into release, I thought I’d give MCC another shot - well, once again I will await another 5-6months of patches
I’ve just found that bug. Finished ‘The Maw’, watched the introduction scenes of Halo 2 then turned it off for a break at ‘The Armory’ then when I came back to it, it’d reset it ‘Halo’.
While I’m not overly fussed redoing them, it’s a pain when I’ve spent the last half a day going through the first game only to find out I have to do it all over again.
Finished up the last mission of Halo 3 in the Master Chief Saga playlist last night and decided to jump off for the night and get on today and it threw me back to the map Halo on Halo CE, nothing i have tried will get it to load the right map not even selecting another playlist then selecting the saga playlist again and hitting resume. The resume playlist option for the saga playlist shows Dawn as the map it needs to load but when i click resume it just shows Halo again. There is no way in hell i am playing through this entire playlist again so any suggestions for this would be amazing.
This happened to me in July on the saga playlist and again in August on ODST LASO, pretty ridiculous that they still haven’t fixed this. Definitely not buying another 343 game until they do
