I have seen a lot of Master Chief Saga Playlist runs that are glitched, the problem is all the posts about it are from 2015. I just recently finished halo 2 on the MCS playlist and it restarts for me at the Pillar of Autumn. Is there a way to fix this that has come out in two years???
Did you save and quit on a level at all?
Yes, I saved on arrival for halo 3. Apparently it was a pretty common bug, but I can’t believe it hasn’t been fixed in two years.

I’m surprised as well. I think the only thing to do here is to start fresh.
Doing the master chief saga… Get to siera 117 (H3) and bam! Back to halo CE…where’s the support?
Just happened to me today as well. Saved and quit on the armory and went to resume the playlist and it puts me back at halo ce.
I got to Halo 3 Mission 1 in the normal Saga playlist and got off. When I returned, the playlist would only let me start at Halo CE mission 2. Incredibly frustrating.

I’m sorry this has happened to you. I don’t think it’s possible to get to that point again, without starting all over. Word of advise, don’t quit in the middle of a level. Sometimes it bugs out.
I have had the same problems since this game was released! Its happened to me on several different playlist get so far and it kicks me back to home screen and sets the playlist back to the 1st level! Or if you save and quit then come back to it the game has reset playlist back to the 1st level! Its a shame that this has still not been fixed after all this time! Why arent dedicated fans who are still playing this collection being looked after?! When we buy a game we expect it to work or atleast be patched but the fact that 343 have tottally abandoned this game and its fans has put me off playing it any further! I hope they even bother to read these threads and see how frustrated we are having waited years now for a fix and still nothing!!!
Just had the same problem wtf so frustrating. Just on a random cross gameplay list 4 levels after completing the first 3 ; saving and quitting. When i wanne finish the last 1 it says 3/4 completed but always puts me in the first mission awesome. Kappa
Its annoying as hell isnt it!! Imagine doing full master chief campaign playlist and that happening!! Thankfully they are starting to fix issues so far only online multiplayer issues but hopefully they fix this aswel cause i do enjoy playing through the diferent playlists… i mean i used to… i gave up on it ages ago havent touched the game since!

I refuse to start the LASO playlist because of this. I got reset in the warthog playlist (I can’t remember what it was called off the top of my head). That is only 4 missions and I was pissed, I can’t imagine working through all the campaigns and this happening. This Is extremely frustrating.
Hurry up and fix this… I want to finish this damn thing, have it all complete.
Does anyone know if this problem has been fixed since the big new update?? I haven’t had time to check yet. Thanks
Been having no problem with this playlist whatsoever, but today as I am on the 44th mission, it gives a WWWWWWWW code and resets to lobby over and over. Tried quitting, reloading, on and off, nothing. -Yoinking!- waste of time.
