Me and my friend were doing the master chief saga playlist. After completing Halo CE, we took a break and ate and whatever but before that it for some reason separated us and put each of us into our own halo 2 mission The Armory. So i went to resume the playlist from the Armory in Halo 2 and it brought us all the way back to the mission Halo in Halo CE! WTF HAPPENED! And when i went to the playlist info it says 11 of 45 completed and i can resume at the armory in coop but when i hit resume it puts us back into Halo in Halo CE. Does anyone know a solution to this fix cuz we shouldnt have to play all of CE again

There’s no solution to it sadly but to replay it again. There are people on True Achievements that give this achievement out though.
playlists involving Halo 2 are pretty broken. Do the playlist all in one go if you can.

What do you mean by give it out? Me and my friend have tried it 4 times and been reset every time, putting at least 20h of gameplay into one achievement- last time we made it to the 3rd mission of Halo 4 and it put us back to the beginning in the morning as we were so tired for having played straight for 10 hours. We’re both trying to 100% MCC, and this is really putting us off the game, so much so that we haven’t touched the game since our last attempt!

Create an account on True Achievements it’s free. Your GT is your username on there. Go to the MCC forums and you’ll see two threads on there. One is labeled Checkpoint Distribution number 3. The other is MCC Life Story Checkpoint Distribution. Message a guy on there and you’ll be set.

I have the EXACT. Same. Problem.
I went all the way up to Dawn on Halo 4, and it took me back to Halo on Halo: CE. This is incredibly irritating.

Did the exact same thing, “Save and Quit” on the level Dawn and got taken back to Halo on Halo: CE. Something similar happened during Halo 2 but it only took me back a few levels so I kept playing.
So I then went into the Halo 4 Easy playlist and after the custscene meeting the captain for the first time THE GAME CRASHED.

That is correct. I would still recommend to do it legit but if your game resets to the beginning or to a previous level way back Id go on TA to a thread about this and someone will give you the achievement.

I still don’t understand that. How does someone “give” you an achievement? To me, that sounds like handing over your account information over to someone who will play for you and earn it for you

Nope someone has the final checkpoint of the saga playlist and invites you to a session they quit out while you stay in it and you get the achievement

I hope this is addressed in this coming Spring’s fixes for the game.

This happend to me twice, once the armory sent me back to Halo and the other was Sierra 117 (I think) which sent me back to Two Betrayals. Needless to say I wasn’t a happy camper, having to play an entire campaign which I’d completed the day before, so I sat down and played the entire list in one go that weekend. Wasn’t all bad though when I got to Dawn it skipped half the level for some reason. Weird…

It just did the same thing to me. If I go to resume it even indicates the Dawn mission until I hit start. Then starts me on Halo CE: Halo.

I just started over.
Made it all the way to Composer on Halo 4 on the MCC Saga Playlist (41/46) and b/c I restarted the level now it won’t let me play the level anymore. Is there any way this glitch can be fixed?!?
