I just encountered what I assume is nasty new glitch in the master chief saga playlist. I played through the first 3 games in the playlist (piecemeal, not all at once) and then quit after the intro chapter of halo 4. The next time I attempted to play the master chief saga playlist, instead of loading Halo 4 chapter 2 (Dawn), it loaded Halo CE chapter 2 (Halo). The resume playlist icon showed 36/45 complete and showed me the icon and name of the correct level “Dawn” but continues to load Halo CE chapter 2. I have been very careful to always host and not jump in with others that might reset this progress. This is so frustrating! I have already played through each level multiple times and now I have to play through the entire 4 games again?

This exact thing happened to me… I feel your pain.
Sounds like it would be a good idea to play though the playlist in one play-through to avoid the glitch. I would’ve thought they patched it in the latest update.
Happened to me with Halo 2 LASO, got up to gravemind and the whole playlist reset after a while. I was very careful not to start another playlist or join anyone else’s.
It’s very painful if it happens on The Legendary Master Chief Saga… I got to Cortana on Halo 3, and the same thing happened. ;-;
