Master chief’s armour odd one out of blue team?

Master Chief armour in Halo 6 looks to be the Forward Unto Dawn movie armour with a different chest plate. Will Blue team have the same armour as they had in the movie which was the Noble 6 armour?
If not and they keep the Halo 5 armour, why then is Master Chiefs armour changed in the first place. In Halo 5 all of Blue team their armours were quite similar to each other especially their chest plates and greaves so when we we see Chief again he’s gonna be the odd one out.

Where is the logic in this in downgrading Master Chiefs armour while Blue team all the other Spartans IV’s keep their advanced armours? Also of concern is Thel Vadam the arbiter, is his Halo 5 armour gonna be ditched as well?

They’re obviously going to make armor look like halo armor again. So they’re armor will probably not look like halo 5 armor…

Look up the cover for Halo Shadows of Reach. You’ll have your answer there regarding Blue Team. Also, chief’s armour is the next generation of the Mark 6 (its an upgrade not a downgrade).

The cover photo is inconclusive for the rest of blue team, there is no clear shot of them. The Halo 6 armour for Chief is the Forward unto Dawn armour with change being the modification in the chest plate where the pectoral plates are connected while for Halo 6 it’s separated, everything else is pretty much matched up. That movie was set well before the events of Halo Reach so I find it hard to believe it’s an upgrade when all evidence points otherwise.

No, the cover for Shadows of Reach clearly shows Blue Team in their Gen3 armor. There’s nothing “inconclusive” about it. And no, the Gen3 Mk VI we have in Infinite is not the suit from Forward unto Dawn/The Package, just inspired by it.

It’s inconclusive because it either doesn’t show their chests because they are sideways or in the case of Kelly her shotgun is covering it.

You can look at the rest of the armor and compare it if you want, it’s the same. You seem to be taking this all a bit too seriously if you ask me.

If the arbiters new armor is thrown out, so much the better. He looked much better in silver.

I think itd be cool if his new armor acts as his ceremonial/leader armor

Also I would like to believe he kept the old armor around as actual battle armor. Maybe in Halo 5, he was where that armor to be formal but still wheres his Silver armor when he is actually out battling. So its still possible for both to be retained.

That’s a good idea! But for combat, his silver is just better.

Another great idea!

Heaven forbid anyone ever get new gear in a story, everyone must wear the same look forever like some sort of super hero.

It’s not the “Forward Unto Dawn” armor. It’s the vastly superior and far more instantly recognizable Halo 2-3 era look. I am almost certain if blue team is in the game their style will be changed to look more like actual Halo armor, and not Gundams or some -Yoink-, which would be more in line with what Chief will be wearing.
