Master Chief, Jerome-092 and Arbiter confront Atriox. And, the three of them fight Atriox. Who would win?

sorry to sound stupid but what happened to the rest of red team.

The rest of Spartan-II Red team would be on the Ark with the rest of the UNSC forces contingent with the UNSC Spirit of Fire. Jerome, as far as we know is still there with his team fighting the Banished with the UNSC forces contingent with the UNSC Spirit of Fire; and as it turns out they are much bigger than we thought which means that Atriox and his Banished contingent aren’t the only forces the Banished have. By fighting Atriox and his Banished forces on the Ark, destroying their control of the Ark’s portal network, destroying their ship the Enduring Conviction, and killing a large number of their troops on Installation 04c, the UNSC gained a major advantage over the Banished as a whole by disrupting their work on the Ark and stranding Atriox from the rest of his forces across the galaxy.

I also forgot to mention Decimus’s death was a big factor too.

So it all comes down to equipment and location on both sides.

Atriox is a massive target but

  • He has bullet resistant armor (able to take several pistol and BR shots and a knife and look unscathed)
  • Has powered armor that allowed him to crush MJOLNIR and send Spartans flying by hitting them
  • His weapon (Idr if it’s the name or not, but Chainbreaker) seems like a rather powerful weapon using Plasma and blunt force
    HOWEVER
  • We dont see him ever using a gun so it’s doubtful he would ever have a range advantage
  • He’s only 1 Brute, despite how powerful he might be he can still be overwhelmed

As for the 3-man team

  • Thel was an amazing Commander and John/Jerome are good TLs so they could probably come up with a plan in time to counteract Atriox
  • John was fighting for almost the entire HCW (I say almost bc Cryo and Slipspace times) so much like Thel, he has a lot of combat experience
  • Thel was able to take down Tartarus albeit with help from Johnson and other Sangheili
  • They have the numbers and range advantage most likely (and mobility)
    HOWEVER
  • Jerome was out of combat for almost 3 decades in cryo so he’s probably still rusty
  • Chief isn’t a top tier fighting among the SIIs
  • Thel is a good commander yes, but as for a duelist he’s about Average maybe a little above (I said in a previous forum post a while back Ripa Moramee would demolish Thel)

So basically like most fights, it comes down to a few deciding factors in the scenario but chances are the 3 man team will win solely based on a ranged advantage and I doubt Atriox’s armor is able to take plasma damage like it can ballistic rounds or a knife
