At the legendary ending Halo 4 Master Chief was getting his armor removed. Does this mean hes going to get new armor in Halo 5? I think he probably will because it is all damaged and scratched. But if he does, what kind of armor do you thing he will get? I think he’ll probably get Mk. 7. Tell me what you think.
I think UNSC will fix his armor and polish it.
Well to come think of it Mark VI (or IV, not sure the one that master chief has now) is only for Spartan II personnel, so why not have something unique?

He’ll proberly get makr 7. The UNSC wouldnt want one of their best assests using out dated equipment.
Keeping the current armour ( no matter how cool it already is) wouldnt make any sence. Unless there is some sort of event or attack which dosent give him time to make the switch. Like getting teleported to a Forunner instilation or somthing.
I do expect that the Chief will have the next version of armor in H5, but I’m really nervous about 343’s ability to design it. It is weird enough that the Chief somehow came out of cryosleep in a new set of armor, but looking at their designs from the various hideous multiplayer armor designs I really have very little faith in 343’s ability to create art assets the meet up with the quality we’ve come to expect from Bungie in the past.
So yes, he will probably have new armor, but it will most likely be a huge deviation from when we would like in Halo.
Keeping in mind that Naomi is wearing MK-VII in the novels “Glasslands” and “The Thursday Wars,” Master Chief may possibly be wearing a new MK-VIII.
Mjolnir Mk VII does exist, and I doubt they’ll just stick him in one of the light weight Mk VIs that the Spartan IVs wear. So my bet is that he’ll get the Mk VII.

anywayyyyy I think he will get a new set as in terms of Halo 2 because 343 wants to make Halo “their” game as noticed from the extreme difference from H3 to H4
I just hope his helmet remains the same Golden visor with the two iconic sun protectors sticking out his head
On the Halo Wiki it states that even after the Human-Covenant War, as of 2558, Spartan IV’s are able to request Mark VI armor.
Honestly I think that 343i should not make the Master Chief change his armor. IMO, I would like to see him with a better textured version of the Mark VI, rather than his post-cryo updated armor. It has so many exposed areas such as the back.
For the entirety of the Halo games, the armor for Master Chief was easily recognizable and iconic. Next thing you know he will have Oceanic and no one will know who he is.
I don’t really like the concept for the Mark VII either. They should just leave it as is. It is really unique and has the fans admiring it anywhere.
And the armor update while in cryo I believe is due to the same effect that the Mark VII has; ability to self upgrade during cryo.
