I know this won’t happen and it might not even be possible but I wish they could make it wear the first Halo game and Halo 2 could support four player co-op what do you all think of this idea

I agree. 4 player coop for CE & 2, PC splitscreen, campaign cross-platform, splitscreen wide-screen, able to choose between horizontal or vertical splitscreeen.

Sam here, been begging for this since Halo MCC started its revival back in 2018. Actually, I realize how much PvE Matchmaking right now is seriously lacking in MCC on the PvE front in terms of content since we only have Reach and ODST Firefight Matchmaking and nothing else to play in the other games to fight against the AI over Matchmaking. The best way to solve this is to bring in Campaign and Spartan Ops Matchmaking as this would completely balance out the amount of content against PvP matchmaking to play online. I know its alot of work doing this (and I know it takes 6 months to 1 year per campaign to fix the netcode to move this to dedicated servers) but it would be well worth working on for the long term after support has ended still to come for the MCC, especially with only two games and one mode to play in PvE to pick. With 3-4 Player Coop in CEA and 2A supported, then in Campaign Matchmaking, 343 doesn’t need to cut out CEA and 2A from the 4 player coop selection, otherwise they would have to limit it to 2 players as that would have to be an option still (2 and 4 player coop should be offered regardless). Plus doing those PvE challenges every week is already really tedious doing them solo and this would certain spice up doing them together with other people over coop matchmaking. And that pesky Coop Challenge we have every week, which once again would be solved if we had Campaign/Spartan Ops Matchmaking instead of using an idle controller or trying your best to find a person to play with online, which most of the time, they won’t really care about doing that really unless you have friends that wants to do this most of the time.
