So here’s what I’ve had in mind for a while… Now that we’re on the next gen 343 should be looking for ways to bring last gen to the Xbox Series X. I think that one way that would be amazing and be bringing them all to MCC. Halo 5, Halo Wars, Halo Wars 2, and Spartan Assault/Strike.
Here’s the thing with MCC… it’s kind of a mish-mash of a half dozen games and even more game engines. Last count I believe was 11 game engines. MCC is pretty much being held together by duct tape and kite string at this point. It’s not as simple as doing a “drag and drop” to add these other games to MCC. Adding Reach was about the limit of what MCC could handle.
Adding H5 would mean adding yet another game engine, and adding HW and HW2 would require a complete UI overhaul. Strike and Assault might not be that difficult, but idk for sure. I’m not a super technical person. This is just what I’ve learned from others on this site that are familiar with this sort of thing.
TL;DR you’re asking for a lot more than you think you are
