Does anybody know how to get Master Chiefs new campaign armor in Multi-player.
Complete the campaign on lrgrndary either solo or co-op. <you need to be online to do it.
You can’t! Chiefs armor was heavily modified by Cortana during his cryosleep.
I have already completed the campaign on legendary and have the Mark IV armor, the the campaign armor Master Chief uses is different
You can’t get the ‘chief’ armour in multiplayer.
You can’t get his campaign armor in war games or Spartan ops.
> You can’t! Chiefs armor was heavily modified by Cortana during his cryosleep.
No it wasn’t. Master Chief uses the regular Generation 1 Mark VI armor
Multiplayer spartans get the Generation 2 Mark VI.

He is still using gen 1 armor just modified armor.

The standard Genration 1 Mark VI armor is aestheticaly identical to the Generation 2 version.
Master Chief’s Mark VI armor was modified by Cortana during his cryosleep, making his look different from the other two.

Which mean s Mchief Armour on Halo 4 is Unique even to I’m sure on halo 4 Mchief will be enlisted on the S4 program givin him a newer armour
You can’t.
On a related topic though, 343i seems to have contradicted themselves with this “modified Mk.VI” explanation. If it is exclusive to the Chief, why did all of the Spartan-IIs in the Prologue have it on? If you say it is a retcon of MJOLNIR, then why include the Halo 2/3-era MJOLNIR Mk.VI in multiplayer and make it canon? Also, the S-IIs could’ve all have had Mk.VI anyway.
Such a mess.

If you notice, the Elites in the prologue also have Halo 4’s “Storm” look, instead of the original Covenant Elite forces look. They also used the Halo 4 style Assault Rifle, the MA5D, instead of putting in the classic MA5B that they used during that time period. Probably used Halo 4 looks just so the didn’t have to work so hard on that one cutscene. Psh, lazy if you ask me. That cutscene takes place early in the Human-Covenant War. Put the original styles in! I’m talking the classic MJOLNIR MK V armor for the SPARTAN-IIs and at least the Halo Reach look for the Elites in the clip.

The first observation I made when I got this game was: why are they all wearing Mk. VI when everyone is supposed to have Mk. V before halo 2?
And this was all so they can change some art around.I do like some of the designs. But the lore “explanation” was poor.

I can understand the nanotech explanation fine, after all absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. But when they say it is modified by Cortana and it was around long before Cortana existed, then it falls apart. 343i seems to struggle with MJOLNIR in general though, though I don’t know why it is such a problem.
Sorry to the OP for going a bit off-topic though.
You all read to much into it, in the campaign it says that Cortana made modifications to chiefs Armour, that’s where they left it, it hasn’t something to do with the story hence why the opening cinematic all had it also.
It is not new Armour you are supposed to pretend that the cheif had that armour all along, they just wanted a new looking thing, it does not relate with the story what so ever…

It actually is related to the story. Cortana modified Chief’s Mk.VI. Fair enough. However, why is it in the Prolouge that deals long before Cortana even existed or Mk.VI for that matter? And then why include the Halo 2/3-era Mk.VI in multiplayer? They created a canonical issue for no good reason.

As seen above, it does.

Indeed, and in relation to the OP, the Prologue at the beginning of the game has absolutely nothing to do with the original fiction that was created for the MJOLNIR armor.
To sum it all up, the Spartans in the Prologue should be wearing earlier versions of the MJOLNIR armor. Instead, they are wearing the version that is supposedly exclusive to the Master Chief as Cortana separately modified his armor after the events of Halo 3.
To this, there is no explanation besides 343 got SUPER lazy, or that they simply changed the aesthetics of the original Mark VI design entirely and are saying “We’ve changed the canon, this is how Mark VI looked all along” and that would explain why the Spartans in the Prologue are wearing it.
They gave you a little back story so people wouldn’t get all bitchy about it, apparently it did not work, the whole thing is meant to just look different, that’s why the opening scene has Spartans wearing chiefs Armour.
Cortana saying what she did just gave you a little reason not to think too much into it, as usual how ever people complain about stupid things rather then play the game and discover its true pro’s and con’s.
