Master Chief becomes a Spartan IV maybe?

Do you think possibly by the end or at the end Master Chief will possibly become a Spartan IV? That would be very cool IMO. What do you think?

An armor “upgrade” isn’t what makes the difference between a Spartan II and a Spartan IV so…no. I don’t think so.

Spartan II > Spartan IV

Spartan II are better, they have been trained since 6/7 year olds, just to fight.

Spartan IIs were abducted around the ages of six or seven and trained for war since then, and went through significant biological and neurological augmentations in order to not only be the most effective and strong group of soldiers, but to also be able to don the MJOLNIR armor.

Spartan IIIs were just used for suicide missions, not entirely sure about the extent of their training (I need to brush up on my reading lol).

If I recall correctly, Spartan IVs are veteran UNSC marines and ODSTs who signed up for Spartan training and modified MJOLNIR armor in order to actually wear it without destroying their physical being.

So Spartan IIs were the best generation of Spartans, and it would be impossible for a Spartan II to become a Spartan IV due to the extent of training and physical modifications.

EDIT: I may be wrong about that last bit. “Considering Spartans from all generations were invited to the SPARTAN-IV program, a SPARTAN-II and III would then be considered a SPARTAN-IV if they joined.” - from halo wikia.

That’s impossible. Chief can’t be a Spartan IV as he’s already a Spartan II. He can wear the Mark VII or CIO armor set and it wouldn’t make him a IV.

What IS possible is for him to be integrated into the program just like the surviving Spartan IIIs.

Technically it’s physically impossible for John to become a Spartan-IV. He’d just be a Spartan-II in Gen-2 armor.

They were chosen. The S-IV program still included a selection criteria, though not as specific as the S-II criteria. Being an adult-personnel of the UNSC was one of them.

To answer your question OP, it is possible for the Chief to wear spartan IV armor, but given the circumstances about how much better MC’s armor is compared to all other kinds, its probably not likely he would wear it.

Don’t forget the differences between S-II, S-III, and S-IV armors.

That’s…I…ugh…no.

Your argument is invalid.

why would the MC want to be a noob spartan who started training at age 18. MC had 12 years of training before any of the numb nuts in the spartan 4 program even considered enlisting.

Why they would trust normal people with the enhancements of a spartan I’ll never know. John is damn near emotionless from years of tough training. Normal people are too emotional, imagine if one went rogue.

LOLOLOL

I’m pretty sure Hamish Beamish will become a meme inside this community.

This is the best thing since Oonsk or Food Nipple Grunt.
