but I heard this may be a beta look if so that great but that my thoughts what do you guys think of chief armor in halo 4 with you frist look at it

My opinion? I love it, better than MJOLNIR Mark VI. And they are suppossed to be just 0-gee thrusters, so wouldn’t work in atmosphere.
They have said it isn’t his final look, but I highly highly doubt it’ll look very different in the final game.

And what are you talking about? There are only MJOLNIR Marks IV, V and VI and SPI Marks I and II with modular modifications (CQB, EVA…). And Master Chief have only wore the MJOLNIR ones.
I like some parts of the new armor. Arm guards, the legs, and the mouth peace all need to look better, more detailed and more full and just better, especially the arm guards, and the vizor should look at leas a bit more like the Halo2,3 one. Oh and the chest, I only have one main problem with the chest other then the fact that it does not look a thing like the old one, it looks like it has a hole in it, pleas 343 put a little red light in there or something, that little black square in his chest pisses me off. But the one in the trailer is not the official Halo4 suit, last time they talked about this at Halo Fest they said it was around the 4th one that they did.
Why does everyone think its a atmospheric jetpack? It isn’t. Its too small to support him in atmosphere, He weighs around a ton and a tiny jetpack can’t propel him up so far in a 1.0G location. Its for 0G Usage, for more maneuverability. It was there for things like cramped, high speed places, so you could escape easily, provided you had a means of stopping yourself, otherwise you would just float forever (No force in space to turn you around for your jetpack to boost you, so unless you had side-jetpacks, you would need something to anchor yourself to. In halo 2, in that space place, if he used it he would have pretty much flew super far away, but thankfully there was still a teeeeeeny bit of gravity and he has magnet boots.
The Armor looks weird, color seems to white, I liked it better when it was smooth in Halo 3. However, the I liked how it was more angular.

same I to like smooth look better to angular I would’y mind if it new armor he got later on in the game it just looks way to diffrent form where story left of you know

It’s ok. Not much changed except for the arms and chest piece. The arms were mixed with Reaches look, and the rest was given a sharper look. Shoulder pads are cooler that the trailers thats for sure.

True the chest is too sharp looking. But I also think that the color isn’t doing it any justice.

The thing I find most interesting about it is the damage marks on the right chest plate, just like in Halo 3.

I like shoulder pads I saw Square Enix: Silver Spartan Mark V Action Figure Preview and the Shoulder pads cought my eyes the most so and get what you mean thanks for the info

I agree.
Having seen that action figure the armour looks a lot better than I first thought it did, which is great, though the helmet is still really unattractive
The armor worn by master chief in the trailer is only a place holder IT IS NOT THE COMPLETE FORM. so no need to get your -Yoink!- in a bunch

Yeah it’s better in some ways. The shoulder pads are better, though I like how the forearms looked in the trailer. I just don’t want it to go back to how it was in H3. Spartans looked like plastic toy soldiers.
