i know it wouldnt be much considering they have the other 3 from blue team and ALL of osiris. comeon 343 let us have the ACTUAL mk 6 (or 7??) from campaign. why is the chiefs the ONLY not usable armor?!
There can only be 1 chief… unless of course its Co-op in any other Halo

No Chief Armor and no Chief colors either, I believe the reason for that was that they didn’t want a bunch of Master Chiefs running around in MP.

Only Thor could wear it as well… but it would be weird to wear and wield a Mjolnir…
On the other side, if there should ever be a Master Chief armor - GEN2 Mark VI MOD variant, it should be only awarded for example for beating the Halo 5 campaign on Legendary solo, etc.
As I’ve said before, it’s a lore thing. UNSC or Misraiah or whatever didn’t make H4-5 Chief’s armor. Cortana updated it while he was asleep, which is why Chief said, ‘you’ve been busy’ when he wakes up. So nobody was able to copy it.
well ok i understand the lore thing but theres alos the fact the they have a SCARRED mkVI, why put that in if its scarred. for lore purposes they should just have the pristine one. and in the end its just a game they can do it if they want, im not entirely sure if 343 knows entirely what their fanbase wants. and id be more then willing to beat the solo campaign on legendary for the new mk6

**Nope. Not true.**Master Chief has gotten a brand new armor in Halo: Escalation.
Even then, Didact has still severely damaged his helmet, so yeah.
He has now a fully GEN2 armor. It’s just him wearing it, GEN2 Mark VI MOD.
It was issued to him.
I’d rather have the classic looking Mark VI, like the way it looks on H2A and HW2.

the halo wars 2 armor is like a wierd mix of MKIV and MKVI it looks awesome though

I just hope that if and when the Chief dies, it would make sense to have it in the game for MP as an homage to him that other Spartans could wear ( he would become the face of the spartan branch). That’s the only way I can see it come through. Preferably if you could only obtain it via Campaign achievements because lord knows we haven’t had any legendary rewards since 4 !!

I sure hope they consider it, because I would love to have it on ^^. And to those of you out there who would see a canonical issue with this, may I remind everyone that we are able to somehow wear a whale shaped helmet & and have pizzas and fries printed on our guns ! So you see it’s just for fun and fan service. So I totally agree with you that implementing it would not pose a problem and really should be thought over for the next Halo installment

TBH I don’t think many people care about lore in Multiplayer, not to mention chief’s armor sets in previous games were more iconic than the new one, yet they were the default armor. So i don’t see why it shouldn’t be in multiplayer, also it’s on the hcs logo. They can simply add a skin and not add his color and visor. It’d be the main set I’d wear. Regardless of how many people would wear the set, it wouldn’t take away from his set, it’s still iconic.
