So there has been info that has been released about getting Spartan Locke’s armor through Gamestop pre-order for day one, or through playing the game if you don’t pre order at gamestop. I was wondering if there are any similar promotions or ways to acquire Chiefs armor from Halo 4 and 5, not the previous versions of Mark like from Halo 2 and 3?
I believe the new design might be one of the coolest designs for armor in any halo series, from top to bottom. Any info would be epicly awesome. Thanks gang!
Sorry about this post, but I haven’t heard anything of it. Spartan Locke’s armor looks pretty sick, however. I’ll keep doing some research and waiting and get back to you when I have more info.
With Halo 4 they said they intentionally omitted Chief’s armor from multiplayer. They wanted to keep the armor unique to Chief. I don’t think they’ve said the same for Halo 5, but I’m sure that’s their plan.

I think this is a logical assumption. I agree with Pope 138.

Sadly I think this is the case. Chief’s armor is my favorite Spartan armor in the series so far (besides Fred’s CENTURION), and I’d love to wear it in multiplayer. I think it was the only good armor design to come out of Halo 4.

Yeah, but you can have MKVI helm and centurion body, that kinda looks like chiefs armor.
Canon Fodder: Conventional Warfare implied you could get John’s GEN2 Mark VI based on the way it was described. IE Helmet and body. It seems like all of the armor worn by Blue Team and Fireteam Osiris is available for use in multiplayer.

That’s a good way of putting it.
It would be painful to see a bunch of noob chiefs running around in mp. Noob Locke? Who cares. Maybe after 3 games of playing as Locke I’ll feel differently.
You guys are awesome and this community rocks! Thanks for all of the posts and insight! I’m super excited to play as Locke, and I think its cool that 343 is introducing an entire cast of heroes so more people can really grab on and identify with the personalities they like the most. For me, I’ve been a halo player since 2001 with the original release, and its been awesome to see the franchise grow. For me, this is like the Avengers of halos and I’m super excited to see how it plays out.
I think my number one excited feature is to see if they incorporate clans, and also to see the customization options.
