There are 2 sides of me when it comes to Halo 5 trailers/gameplay vids.
Today (september 23rd) A LOT of videos showing off the campaign came out today and i dont know if i should watch them or not.
I want to limit the amount of spoilers so i have the best possible experience when i do the halo 5 campaign so i will watch no campaign videos of halo 5 !
I also want to see all the new vehicles, game mechanics, enemies level design etc !
So should i watch the campaign videos today and see all the new stuff? Or should i just wait patiently for the game to come out ?
I watched the opening cinematics for blue and Osiris teams. As for the campaign gameplay, I have not watched it because I want to see it in game first. It’s good mix of both watching and refraining.
There isn’t really anything very spoilery or anything, but I understand that its for the sake of the experience. If you do eventually break down and watch them, then definitely stick to Ready Up Live. He cut out lots of gameplay portions with story elements that the other uploaders didn’t. Plus, he’s just better at the game then everyone else. But your choice man
If you want to take a look at the cinematic awesomeness, I think you are safe to watch the two opening cinematic (one for Fireteam Osiris and one for Blue Team). There are really not any spoilers in those two vids, just badassery.
As for gameplay and new mechanics, level design, flow, etc, I would stick with only watching the gameplay vid officially released about a week ago titled “Swords of Sanghelios.” That shows a really great overview of everything new without spoiling much. The new vids that were released today don’t demo anything that the “Swords” video didn’t, but they are more spoiler-filled, so I would stay away from them.
