In your opinion… do you feel that Mass Effect 3 was rushed???
Videogame entitlement at its best. Somehow in retrospect players believe they always had a choice. Somehow even though ME2 wasn’t effected by ME1’s choices much, even though ME1 had 1 ending with a few subtle differences, even though ME2 had 2 endings with a few subtle differences, somehow ME3 broke the trend that ME1 and ME2 started by allowing you to alter the journey, and never the destination.
Really if you’re going to go into choice as much as the guy claimed we had, then you’re going to have to pull your head out of your -Yoink- and realise that you were “played” from the beginning and no matter what, your actions have always led to the inevitable endings of each game.
As the player you are no different than Saren or the Illusive Man in that you were a tool for someone else’s plans.
The sooner you realise this, the sooner you’ll understand that it’s not the lack of choice that ticks the players off, it’s the “final boss” of the game that’s unbeatable that ticks you off.
“Reality” simulated into a game… scary.
What? Hell no.
