Mass air + Infantry beats Anders Sentinels

I like to rush every Anders player to get them out of the game as early as possible and today I think I found a good anti-OP strat.

At 3:00 I started double pumping Banshees and at 4:50-ish I headed off to my enemies base. Of course, he had a plethora of Sentinels (about 10). I took out 4-5 before I got pushed back. He started to chase me back to my base so I started spamming Banshees and my ally had Infantry waiting. Turns out that Sentinels suck against infantry and get hindered by air lol. He lost all of his Sentinels and got eliminated like 6 minutes later.

Sidenote: Anders players when your first Sentinal attack doesn’t work, DON’T KEEP DOING THE SAME THING!! Sentinels aren’t a big issue after the first 10 minutes so please come up with a better mid-game strategy.

You’re forgetting a few other variables here when you mentioned “my ally.”

From the sounds of it, that anders wasn’t playing sentinels correctly.

id roll you with my sentinel marine composition early/mid/late. challenge my team on game battles (2v2) and ill show you.

Anders Sentinel users are lame as hell. And should be smeared, and mocked at every defeat. No strategy, and skill.

Well done smoking that guy

Nah, he played them just fine. It really doesn’t take much too dominate with sentinels. People just spam them and get a win most of the time. That was probably one of his few losses.

Thx lol.

I’d be more impressed if you were a banished player. Oooohhh"I’m a good player because I attack with Sentinels and Marines". You’re the Joe Montana of Halo Wars I bet…

Nvm

No he didn’t play them just fine. You allowed his expansion to live and in high level games, that is usually GG. He was in the wrong to ‘‘chase’’ you with the few sentinels he had to fight banshees and infantry. That’s not what you do with sentinels.

You honestly haven’t played this game long enough to really see what the problem is with them. Take up with udpu on that challenge since he is quite familiar with how to play sentinels properly.

I do agree every anders player is trash, that’s why they play anders.

You can make the worst mistakes and terrible timing attacks hoard resources and all sorts of bad plays and still come out on top.

Don’t believe me, go on YouTube and search anders videos.

If he would’ve turned back he would’ve been screwed anyways. One of my allies was going over to his base with infantry as soon as I pulled back and I would’ve gone back to his base with a cleansing beam and 4 extra Air2 Banshees if he didn’t get wiped out then.

I took down his expansion after the engagement anyways. Have you seen what upgraded Banshees can do to sentinels?

‘‘One of my allies’’ suggest you were playing a team game and the fact the anders allies allowed you and your teammate to 1v2 him means that game isn’t really a good measurement at all on how to deal with sentinels in a high level game.

There’s more variables at play here like I already told you.

If you want to see how high level players go about it, take up a match with UDPU in a 2v2 team with your ally and tell me how it go’s when people know what they’re actually doing.

this ^^^^^^^^^^^^

Personally I’d never charge an enemy’s main base without:

  • a healthy bunch of lv2 nightingales backing the sentinel warm; - aggressor sentinel and sentinel synergy upgrade; - a few turrets to defend my main and expansion bases. But undefended expansion and mini bases are always open game. The sentinels’ excellent speed makes them perfect for early game smash and run tatics.

He had help. One of his allies brought Wolves. THAT was the main reason I pulled back (forgot to mention this lol).

Both mass Banshees and Mass Hornets will beat the sentinels.
