In my opinion there value does not meet it’s worth. It’s a 400 supply unit with DPS that isn’t worth the cost. It’s a slow frontline tank so shouldn’t it be like one? I do not see it used at all everytime I play against a Banished.
Im proposing either a slight buff to damage, lower cost or lower population, OR a buff in Armor. This thing should take hits. Brutes are Brutes; they take hits like damn boxers, and I don’t think the Maurders fulfill that niche.
Anyone agree or disagree? How can we help the maurders? Or am I wrong? Does thick hide make a difference? Do y’all have some tips or suggestions?
I’d be game for a speed increase and a faster fire rate. If not that then reduce the cost to 300 supply

They are good if upgraded with the extra armour but the cost of that is too high - you’re better off just upgrading to the next tech level and getting wraiths.
I totally agree they don’t really serve a purpose except if you have some excess supplies early on and you build some instead of choppers. I personally would usually go for banshees though as they’re quicker and opponents are usually pumping out vehicles at this stage.
I think a cost decrease is best. The Marauder is pretty good at what it’s supposed to do right now- i.e., poop on infantry and facilitate the transition to Tech 3. The slow on their shots is really good and once you get Thick Hide and Vehicle upgrades, they become hulking behemoths. I don’t think a speed, health, or damage increase is necessary because there’s too much potential for abuse; Colony’s Skitterers give health and damage boosts, and Shipmaster can give them cloaking, make them faster, and increase their line of sight. Literally the only problem is that they’re not cost efficient. A freaking Wraith is 550 resources (I think). And a Warthog is 250 resources. The Marauder should be closer in cost (if not the same cost) to its UNSC counterpart, not a tank. Even with their recent cost increase, Locusts are still a more solid Tech 2 investment than Maruaders because of their sheer usefulness.

They’re pretty OP with Shipmaster’s Banished Raid and Camo passives.
I played a game against someone who used Marauders and I noticed that they slow down infantry when they attack with they’re weapons and hit troops. Maybe they could have a longer stun time or maybe freeze the enemy for a sec like pre-patch Atriox’s Chosen?

Yes they do and that’s honestly quite handy when facing a clump of infantry - but not enough to justify the high cost.
Either decrease the cost per unit (e.g. 250-300 supplies) or do away with the upgrade and include it straight away.

They’re supposed to be anti-infantry. Which they’re good at it but not worth their cost.
I have no idea why the upgrade is T3, who would get that instead of wraiths?
they need to do one of 2 things, they either A. need to make the thick hide upgrade tech 2 and keep the price, or B decrease the price of thick hide and keep it tech 3. because right now theres no reason to upgrade your marauders at tech 3 when wraiths cost only 150 more than marauders and 1 wraith is like having 3 marauders. however I LOVE mixing them with hunters because hunters are slow but marauders slow down the enemy units. and if you use the banished raid upgraded 3 times on shipmaster they are little speed demons. they have their uses, just need ever so slight tweaking in the price.
I love Marauders. If you can get to Tech 2 quickly, then they’re handy at stopping groups of rushing infantry.
Thick Hide is good to increase their armor, but by then I think it’s more beneficial by then to start pumping wraiths onto the field. They cost a bit more resources, but almost no power and double the pop, but they’re far stronger especially with the scorch mortar.
For when it can be readily produced; I think reducing the cost of resources to something like 350 would make it more useful and quicker to put out.

ha there good but looses value pretty fast sense there dps is pretty trash if it was fighting some hunters and wraiths army
yes the invisible is amazing but everyone has a engineer or some anti clocking bizzzz going to there army
me personally i like the upgrade because of the shrouds
