Marty O'Donnell starts Halo YouTube series

“Highwire Plays Halo. Jaime Griesemer, Paul Bertone, and I comment while the person who designed a classic Halo level plays through on legendary.”

Looking forward to Halo’s original composer along with the classic level designers talk about what makes Halo Halo.

After seeing the disappointing Infinite demo I hope one day Marty and the crew are in control of Halo because I don’t think those in charge at the moment are doing a good job. Passion and energy for classic Halo oozes out of Marty and the crew, why are they not in charge of the franchise?

Apparently 343/Microsoft refused to communicate with Marty O’Donnell while reproducing the sounds for Halo 2 Anniversary. They also barred people they brought in who worked on OG Halo 2 from communicating with him either - this is super weird and disrespects one of the people who made the franchise and is why you all have jobs today.

I can’t wait for the series and hopefully one day they are in charge of Halo.

There’s likely some sort of bizarre legal and bureaucratic reasoning behind that, no doubt.
