I like how if we sit here and talk about how cool Marty is and how much we wish he’d come back it’s fine, but if you include the word “petition” in your post then stckrboy will shut your -Yoink- down haha.
Regardless, it’s a great interview. Definitely makes me miss the old days before what they’ve done to Halo now as a franchise.

Idk, but it seems Marty in the interview actually really wanted to be back… and im sure reasons for not letting him bak are heavily influenced by the higher ups whom are Marty’s “freinds” …
You can imagine that when bungie set on a new path im sure Marty had a very tough decision… but after the treatment he recieved while working on destiny …

Plenty of good old nostalga related things and also even new things at times. Hes still working on music, and sometimes releases parts of his new work… or even old works that he worked on before they reached the final product…

At for Marty returning to halo… at this point im more sympathetic to Marty than I am loyal to halo or even 343 (which personally i feel like I am very loyal… not nessicarily a good thing). Maybe hes made a few bad decisions in the past… maybe his “freinds” dont share the same feelings he does towards them… if you seen bungie interview before… they dont seem that fond of him… I just dont think halo and its producers are good for marty.
But im on board with him and his opinions and outlook. Im virtually connected to his work and personality and character.
Doing everything i can to show a token of my appreciation for him and his works.

Right but I’m wondering why they hadn’t asked before. Marty said he’s casually talked to them about coming back but it didn’t amount to anything so that makes me think there was a time period before hiring Curtis that they could’ve asked Marty.

“Many said” implies there weren’t any reliable sources involved.
We don’t know if 343i and Marty have ever talked, and even if they did,
what they talked about and with what outcome.
We will never know for sure.

What are you referring to? I don’t think we’re talking about the same thing. In the interview Marty said he talked to friends at 343i about it and it never amounted to anything. Where is this “many said” and sources stuff coming from?
Was awesome watching this, not only for the awesome insight into the workings behind Halo from Marty, but I’ve been following The Act Man for a long time now and the look of wonder and amazement at various points in this video are incredible to see haha! You can tell in his head he’s thinking “I can’t believe I’m doing this, this is crazy”.
Brilliant interview, brilliant opportunity for The Act Man, loved it.
