I know 99.99 percent of halo fans not only love but actually worship him. And personally I loved his work up until Reach. Halo 5 has surprised me with its music though. It would be interesting to see what Marty could do with “new” halo but something tells me his style wouldn’t really fit with the new atmosphere. Everything is a bit more serious now even though humanities extinction is no longer imminent. Anyway, that’s my 2 cents. Now if we could just get a story that makes more sense.
I agree, except with the part about Reach’s music. I thought it was fantastic. But yeah, I’m glad we got the music we did for H5. It couldn’t have been any better.
It could’ve been much better. It sounded like a really cheesy Star Wars rip off on multiple occasions. Some pieces were good, but overall I was just waiting for a fade or weird pan transition between scenes.
Dammmmm right! Love that man and the soundtracks he’s produced are amazing
We don’t really know whether or not Marty could have made a better OST, but I will certainly say Kazuma did an excellent job.

The music definitely has the Halo feel to it. I dig it.
