Just recently, Martin O’Donell the original composer for the Halo series created an AMA on reddit. When asked if he would like to return to Halo he simply answered, “Need to be asked first.” I know many of you are satisfied with the our current composer. But why settle for great, when we can have the man who created it all? We can have the man who lives and breathes yet puts mystery and awe into the Halo universe! His talents don’t stop there but how many of you are tired by Halo sounding too monotone recently? This man (Martin O’Donell) is responsible for many popular phrases within the Halo universe… “Don’t make a girl a promise…Were it so easy… Send me out, with a bang…” Although not very long, Marty took it upon himself to make them sound meaningful to every Halo fan… So please 343, I beg of you… Get Martin O’Donell to be a part of Halo 6! We want more memorable quotes 343i! The fans love him, I love him… (figuratively speaking) Let me know in the comments if you love him as well!

Agreed. I think Kazuma did a fantastic job. Blue Team is arguably the most beautiful song in any Halo OST, and The Trials is just… Oh, it’s so good. There really has not been a single bad OST. ODST is my personal favorite, but 5 is close.

Marty o donned was my favorite part of destiny. When u first started the loading screen song was amazing and I’d love him to be back in halo.
Too bad it’s not up too us 
I loved the original soundtracks… I haven’t been as impressed with the recent offerings without him.

I agree with you. The Halo 5 OST was amazing! But if 343i were to allow a collab between Marty & Kazuma, that would be even more amazing! Marty was even open to the idea, it’s in 343’s hands now.

5 had an okay track…but the epicness needs worked on. And epicness is one thing that marty the elder excels at
I hope he will return or at least collabs with the sound team. Would be so awesome.
I think Marty is just talented, so no matter what he touches - it will be golden.
Marty was a great asset to the Halo franchise and truly brought the meaning of “mythic” to Halo. My most found memory of his work was the Hog run from H3. Keeping this short and simple unlike my other posts to honor Marty, the Man behind the Music.
