Black Ops 2, first reveal:
-All vehicles revealed
-Gameplay revealed
-Enemies & plot revealed
-Release date revealed

…wat

I’m curious as to which game will get the Mountain Dew advertising.

Well CoD can just come out and say all they want about their game, because 90% of it is usually the same as the last with little to no real changes…

…Maybe 80% seeing as it’s Treyarch with their Zombies…

And it’s already been said that Halo 4 is having some Live Action Mini-Series, so that’s interesting enough…

That and the fact we will inevitably be Swarmed with more information at E3 and after…

So basically, Halo’s marketing is better in some respects, as it actually goes about it in an interesting way…and by interesting I mean hold out on saying a bloody thing for a long time…

Reach did so most likely Halo 4 will.

I still liked my idea of having a chance of winning your very own life size (and fully operational) Gauss Warthog or Scorpion Tank if you pre-order Halo 4.

So did MW3.
Maybe they’ll do it for both? A green coloring for Halo’s and a near Black coloring for Black OPs II.

Call of Duty tends to release everything of the game such as release dates, vehicles, ect. because people know what to expect from a Call of Duty game.

And off-topic but some Call of Duty fans actually call new perks huge changes to the game, do they know what huge changes are if all they buy is Call of Duty games?

I know this may seem odd, but I would rather not have too much of the campaign spoiled for me.

And I would have agreed with you a few months ago, but a small but steady stream of info has been coming in. Hopefully E3 will be a huge wave, and I full expect that to happen.

COD MW3 had it and Dr pepper will be Halo

i think cod will get mountain due its honeslty such a bigger title then halo right now. i honestly dont want them to show any actual campaign gameplay at e3 i dont want any of it spoiled but they should show alot of multiplayer.

I just watched the new trailer for COD and almost every comment I read was negative. I think people are finally starting to wake up to the whole situation. I remember when these forums were all about Halo copying COD, but now it seems almost the other way around.

Oh, and since we are on the topic of marketing, I think this whole 75 minute live action production is going to be huge for Halo and probably introduce new fans.

Ièm not a COD fan or player, but it looks better than H4 so far.

It did start with Halo 3, So I would hope Halo.

If by look, you mean visually…

I advise a trip to specsavers.

Wouldn’t Dr. Pepper be for MoH because Dr. Pepper sponsors all EA games? (BFBC2, ME2, BF3)

I’m praying Halo 4 will be on Wispa bars.

God they are good.

I just saw the trailer for Black Ops 2 and I will have to say that I am not impressed at all. I love playing Halo and I also enjoy playing Call of Duty, but this new call of Duty Black Ops 2 does not have me interested at all. The whole time I was watching the trailer I was thinking to myself that the game looks cheesy so this might be the first call of duty since Call of Duty 2 that I won’t buy the game, but may rent it just to get the achievements lol.

I’m willing to admit Black Ops 2 looks alright, but what?

I like the way 343 is marketing Halo 4 (or not marketing). I like being surprised rather than knowing almost everything about a Halo game before I bought it. I haven’t really had that feeling since Halo 2.

Activision knows that CoD has not sold as good as expected and are afraid it’s going to be the next Guitar Hero, extremely popular for a short time, then no one wants it ever again. They’ll try to do anything to get CoD popular again, but facing off to Halo 4 will be very though, especially since CoD (well, most games) sells more on 360, and Halo 4 is going to steal 360-customers.
