So… When will we get to hear more news about this Halo game? It’s been more than a month already and it is supposed to release next year (probably november again I think). I just don’t hope they are going to do it like they did with Halo 4. It took them way too long to show us stuff in the game. And BS Angel was always saying “Ermahgerd guys, dis is da best thing you will evar see! Dis gaem? Dis gaem be da best hurr!!”
And even though she kept saying that stuff a millions times in bulletins they wouldn’t show us anything. That was just incredibly lame…
And there never was any good info on Halo 4 either in the OHAI (Office of Halo information or something…?)
This time I just hope they share the game with us more. Give us good info, and show us things.
Buuuut that probably won’t happen… ]
I asked about this in the stream yesterday and got no answer. BS Angel just said they will be supporting and updating Halo 4 for a few months still yet.
What is it you want to see exactly? I’ll agree that they didn’t share much information on Halo 4 until weeks prior to launch, but they still got it out there in the end.
I’d like to note that we didn’t hear anything about Halo 4 until the Gameinformer came out in April/May. That was seven/six months before launch and we didn’t see anything in-game until E3 2012 (June) which was five months before launch.
Like you said, the game won’t launch until late 2014, so that’s more than 12 months away. It will be a while before we hear anything about Halo Xbox One anytime soon (although I expect an actual name for the game before 2013 ends).
That’s what happens when Microsoft urges them to reveal the game over a year before release. I’m sure if they’d have something to show, they will but the game will only be a year into development this November. They probably have jack -Yoink- to show now except for some prototypes, concept art and I textured environments that don’t represent what the final game will be and many of which will be cut before release. There was a reason why 343i showed nothing for so long, and it was because they had nothing to show.

What I would like is first some articles that shares some info about the modes in this Halo game. Then share some screenshots with us to show us how it looks like. And later on gameplay videos. Could be simply team matches against eachother in custom games. Or show some awesome forging.

You forget the March (or was it May?) reveal BTS video that showed Spartans running around Haven and Adrift with BRs and a couple of shots of Master Chief. It had many fun tidbits, to be honest.

Well, then they shouldn’t announce a game so soon imo. Announcing it and then not sharing anything with us for months isn’t really a good way to keep me and probably many fans happy…

None of that stuff is ready. It’s probably just gray boxes and Halo 4 assets running around. And even if some of the stuff is good enough to show, it’s so early in the development phase that all of it may get cut or changed. They can’t show off a mode and then come out and say it got cut a few months later. That’s horrible PR, and would be preceived as lying to the consumer about the product. No game gets showed off this early in development.
Halo just gets pretty CGI trailers way too soon. Complain about that.

I understand your need for more information, but like I said, the game is 15 months away roughly, we didn’t get much, if any information on Halo 4 until 7 months before launch.

Could you link me to this video? I know which one you’re referring to but I honestly can’t remember its release time/date.

Just found the video now, came out March 5th, 2012. Ten months before launch
We’re 15 months away at least from Halo Xbox One.

This is the best I could find. It is hard to do on the phone, especially YouTube.
