marketing? Hello?

How come the marketing for the game is so terrible, scratch that, nonexistent?

Can’t they take inspiration from the marketing halo 3 did? Which is arguably the best marketing ever done for a videogame…
All we’ve gotten so far are brief 5-10 second master chief appearances, sorta feeling like guest appearances lol.
Get a grip 343

I’m an older Halo player, but my friends and coworkers who are gamers have no idea that a new Halo is coming until I tell them.

Ha I’m almost 50 and I’ve got a 20 something coworker that knows about it. I’m so playing the beta on the weekend of the 24th

There’s little point spending huge amounts of money on marketing a product that is still 3 months away.

Constant ads for Halo Infinite now would put the game in people’s mind for sure but after seeing the same few ads for 3 months people don’t care as much.
Marketing is more effective in shorter bursts. Here’s our new product, it’s coming out in 3 weeks for free, here’s where you can play it.

Marketing will likely start around early to mid November. Expecting a giant ad campaign now is unrealistic.
Halo Infinite is still being talked about right now regardless of ads for the game not being displayed.
Flighting is gaining huge attention to the game, content creators are making videos, custom hardware is sold out, Halo is very much part of the big conversation for gaming this year.

I guess we’ll see if the marketing was a win or failure when the Infinite flight and BF2042 beta go head-to-head later this month.

To tell the truth, I honestly don’t know what marketing even is anymore or if it actually matters in the long term since I haven’t sat down to watch TV in ages. With so many people cutting the cord and forgoing TV altogether, putting ad blockers on their browsers, etc. I think the most valuable marketing nowadays is done on Twitch and YouTube via game streams and preview videos.

well not at the moment its only 3 months away perhaps once we get closer to the release date proably by then we will see ads for infinite

Hopefully the marketing starts near release instead one cinematic teaser every month

Yeah, they need to get the hype train moving already. They can’t rely solely on the associated press for their marketing and news reveals.

Naw they good. It’s a free to play game, that alone will have people trying it. Name a game that coming out thats stared marketing rn. Not bf, not cod, etc. Guys stop living in the pass. Thry don’t market like that anymore

They are marketing Halo Infinite with Windows 11 so I think it’s safe to say it’s fine.

Idk, Avengers Endgame marketing was literally fake scenes and previous MCU movie scenes. Not a lot shown for a reason. Maybe this is the same thing.

Ive had ads pop up for me of halo infinite

I’ve gone incognito and I try my best not to find an infinite ad or video yet I still get it them recommended to me, also they aren’t necessarily going to be advertising something that is still 3 months away.
