Okay 343i, let’s get this straight: Your marketing technique is to stay “secretive”, right? Well, it’s working for the small minority of people who constantly come to Waypoint, but for the other 99%, well, they surely don’t even know of H4’s existence. Here’s my idea- Facebook ads. So many people use Facebook, I think probably a billion people do. Now- think of what would happen if you bought a lot of ad space on Facebook. A billion people would see Halo 4. And a good percentage would look into it, and about half of those people would buy it. You have around 30 million people just buying it! that’s double what halo 3 sold! So please, stop with the secrecy. Or, if you really think it’s necessary, at least make simple ad’s for H4 with the logo and a link to waypoint or something, just so people know about it. Because honestly- I’m starting to think a game as bad as Mass effect 3 might outsell the diamond Halo 4 is sure to be unless somebody starts marketing the damn thing. And no, TV ads are horrible. Young people are on the internet, and that’s where you want to put the bulk of the ads.
bs angel said news is coming soon. By the way she said it she was indicating soon as in soon not soon as in a couple weeks. I amagine there will be something next week in the bulletin.
Wait for the marketing to start before anything happens because we still have several months before release and marketing usually starts 3 or so months from release but still don’t worry 343 knows what they are doing

You guy’s don’t get what i’m trying to say…?
I’m not asking for info, i’m saying that they should be marketing Halo 4 by now. Letting people know it EXISTS.
I have a paper that says that Halo 4 should come out on November 2, 2012, I think.
I’m sure the marketing team is more than capable of determining when is the best time to advertise the game.
There’s nothing to be worried about, OP.
Um. I don’t even think marketing has really even started yet.
We still have nine months until the game comes out.
I think 343i marketing technique is to release alot of information all at the same time leading up to the release.
Instead of having small burst of information through the the year.
Let me clear this up. I’m a Gamestop employee in Indiana. We get this question all the time from people walking in and requesting to ask us information. I tell them that there are no details on the game as of right now just calmly wait til E3.
But something strange happened the other day… I was looking through the pre-order book and the release date for Halo 4 changed from TBA(To be Announced) to November 4, 2012. I was shocked myself, i called my manager in to confirm and he said that it was changed about a week ago.
I could say that there will be a marketing plan bigger than anything.
Mountain Dew will most likely sponsor this as one of there Game Fuel drinks. Game Informer will have a cover for Halo 4 most likely, and IGN will be all over it.
Halo 4 will have many advertisements cause it is a Microsoft Studio based company meaning that they have many resources at there hand. From recent Halo launches this one is different. Halo 4 will be here you just have to wait like every one else!
