Halo 4 doesn’t come out until the end of this year; there’s plenty of time for an awesome marketing campaign like they said. I have complete confidence and faith in 343i, and Halo 4 is going to be amazing.
To answer the OP’s question, yes, I’m excited for Halo 4. The Bulletins are still promoting Reach stuff, and we’ve been promised nothing. Either be patient, or rage more.
Halo has always been fun for me, I imagine it’s fun anyone who is a real fan of the franchise.
“Haters gonna hate”

When the developer is as great as 343i, that gives me confidence in my statement.
Okay fine then, OP. Just go away.

You obviously do not seemed pump or even trying. Nobody is forcing you to post here.

Die out? Have you played Reach? There is still a large number of people playing. Call it dead all you want, but I have never had a problem finding a game, or even had a long wait time to find said game. I rarely play the same people twice. If you’re calling that dying out and then damn, every game franchise must be hurting. Jump off the Reach-hate bandwagon. Oh and btw 4 games? I count 6 so far.
it makes me worry that they don’t have anything substantial to offer personally.
If i see bloom/AA’s in a gameplay trailer i’ll lose my mind

OP needs to stop making threads, ASAP.

lol…
i Agree with most of you here. if you remember the last OHI KiKi said
"We’ve had an action-packed week of internal mission reviews, a deep-dive with the Marketing and PR teams, and a quick little exec review thrown in for good measure. It may sound like a lot of reviews and that’s because it is… we are in full execution mode. There are hundreds of moving parts across 343 and Microsoft Studios that need to be aligned and coordinated—now is the time to get all our ducks in a row. While it’s been a little hectic making up for last week’s snow days and going through these reviews, it’s always invigorating to be able to get the game in front of folks who aren’t staring at it every minute of every day. I do look forward to getting back to our normal routine of game-building, playtesting, and general creative rabble-rousing. More on this later. "
which point to the fact that there getting ready for something.
Most game release info 2-4 months in advanced. Halo 4 is coming out more then 6 month from this point. i don’t expect them to be releasing info 1 year before the game comes out. And In my opinion if they had waited to release the halo 4 teaser till the beginning of this year, this back lash on no info wouldn’t be as drastic. There still plenty of time and many major electronic, video game expos and other similar functions, to release info. and that’s fine with me. As i have said to some other people I give credit to 343 for the fact that there are no leaks that take alot of work and even bungie couldn’t prevent leaks. and i have alot of faith that when they do release info it will be great and exciting.
Pluss am i the only person the gets excited about the tiny bits of halo 4 related “info” whether its kiki talking about this and the music or frankie hinting at the new game type.

> As for patience, we’ve been waiting for about 10 months for info. Does this not seem odd to you? They announce it at E3 2011, and then don’t speak a word of it until just before E3 2012? Horrible marketing if you ask me.
I wouldn’t say you’re a fan at all complaining like a bitchboy. About 10 months? 8 months tops, with hopefully something coming at the end of this month, not to mention 343i has had their hands full releasing CEA, and keeping up Reach’s matchmaking, not to mention you know, creating a whole new game. We have 8-10 more months til the game is released, what would be the point in starting a marketing campaign this early? So the people who don’t normally buy a Halo game can forget all about it or get sick of it before it releases? That’s ridiculous. You need to take the stick out and do something with your life til the game comes out.

Got to quench that grunty thirst right…right…any one???
U_U ohhhhh lol
343 Sparkast 009 in response to the Marketing Campaign.
I really wish people did just wait. I for one since both the reveal trailer at E3 and the Concept Art trailer at Halo Fest, have been patiently waiting, replaying the previous Halo’s, and just continuing on with life. Sure I would really like to see Halo 4, but alas, all in due time.
Don’t sit around just waiting for information. It won’t come any faster and it sure as hell won’t be delivered to your doorstep when you ask for it.
EDIT: I’d also like to say, I linked the Sparkast video for a reason. Watch it, for your own sake, and stop clogging the forums with hate.
There is such a thing as patience . True we would all like info but in all respects the Marketing Campaign has not even started . Horrible E3 trailer So you had no excitment at seeing Chief ? That trailer was great ! Lastly lets see you try putting New graphics on a 10 year old Game and if you do not get them perfect i am going to star a page on how you are a terrible studio . Give 343 a chance wait till the Game comes out then draw your conclusion .
OP, they promised you nothing. It’s your fault for getting your hopes up. Nothing said on these forums is true, and is all speculation. The outrage after the VGAs came to mind at this post.
It’s completely your fault for wasting what was left of your hype on false truths, since the community will do anything for a piece of information, including announcing to the rest of us every possible release date. Common sense reveals that when 343i says no to an event, it won’t be happening. I am pretty positive Frankie posted on NeoGAF about no VGAs.
On that note, I must say when you said Reach is dead… It’s completely alive. There are about 500k players daily, and just since the average person thinks it’s not on par with the previous halos doesn’t mean you can rip on it for being a terrible game. It’s actually a great game, just some things weren’t implemented properly in the opinions of many. It’s better than the average FPS, and people who dislike the game still play it for its positives.
I honestly respect your opinion towards everything, but those are the reasons why many people believe them as incorrect. It’s completely biased, and not completely true, either.

Trust me dude, I am just as excited as you are when they release the smallest amounts of info.

You seem to think the Halo 4 marketing campaign has begun.
News to you…no. It hasn’t.
