Thanks for the heads up.
Does anyone know if the drops are going to be new, or repeats of the Raleigh drops?
My buddy missed the Raleigh ones, so he’s hoping for repeats…
I got the Raleigh ones, so I’m hoping for new drops…

I missed the got milk emblem
Hopefully new. The more exclusive content the better. I got the weapon coatings and pose finally 2 months later. Still dont have the armor coating sadly
Gotta artificially pump up those twitch numbers to pretend like Halo is still relevant.
The armor coating looks so good, I’m so happy I ended up getting it! I’ve traditionally rocked Red as my primary color, bit the dark green reminds me of MC’s look in campaign, even though IRS not thre exact same. And then the super nice looking gold trim…
So good lol
As someone who’s always watched the tournament it does annoy me how the majority of the chat is people spamming “DROP?!?!?” not even watching the gameplay
I never understood that trend. Spamming !drop or !loot thinking it will do something. Thank goodness for chat filters.
I’m not surprised. I ain’t interested in the slow turning, aim assisted gameplay of these “pro” controller players. Most of us are just there for the drops. Nobody’s really watching that nonsense.
I’d be more interested in watching mouse and keyboard tournaments, because at least you could see people do some wild flicks. There’s nothing interesting about sweating with aim assist. Besides, why would I want to watch someone play a game when I can just be playing it instead? The best part of the HCS tournament was how funny it was every time it crashed
That was the best part. I wonder if it will happen again at this next tourney?
The HCS events are entertaining to watch. I look at them like any other sporting event and find them just as competitive and fun. I think watching HCS events is a lot like watching the NBA. Fast paced, intense, and the matches can go back and forth all the time. There were a bunch of resets due to player disconnects in Raleigh but the event still had many series go to Game 5s.
Oh, yay… another Twitch stream to leave running in a muted background tab.
It’s just the wealthy corporation way of view botting.
Oh boy, I get to help artificially inflate those Twitch view numbers for a sprinkle of free cosmetics to help alleviate the low amount of non Battle Pass customization!
HCS’s production value is pretty good anymore too. Bringing in Shyway and Ynot was a great move, they really help round out the casting crew. Those two basically kept H5 comp play on life support from 2019 to Infinite’s launch so it’s good to see them getting rewarded for the grind.
The teams competing are awesome too. Sentinels get to be tagged as the bad guys a little but, which kind of goes along with their vibe tbh.
Watching Lucid and Ola on Optic play chess when everyone else is playing checkers is awesome.
Snipedown’s return to Halo is something I didn’t even know I missed. The fact he’s surrounded with a bunch of late-H5 prodigy’s like Bound and Bubu is super interesting to follow.
And then CLG is just sleep walking through the opposition anymore which is unexpected.
Infinite’s first HCS season is barely started and I’m having a ton of fun with the different games and series I’ve gotten to catch.
I think people ragging on HCS because of controllers and aim assist are ridiculous. Controllers get aim assist and MnK games have RNG bullet spread. RNG spread is just as bad from a comp perspective imo, and MnK elitists usually don’t like to discuss a lot of ways games have to gimp aiming through mechanics when they’re spitting on controllers.
Infinite has less aim assist than any other Halo there’s been too. Really aim assist isn’t the biggest factor in aiming anymore, and success is weighted more against matching your opponents strafes.
Thanks for the heads up…
So what are these “goods”? What do you want me to mark my calendar for?
Skins or something similar? It’s hilarious what companies try to do with useless cosmetics to retain attention and make money. It’s begging lol.
This is unrelated to this specific thread but I have the urge to spout off anyway. Despite being the least important part of any game, these companies spend most of their time trying to find ways to sell jpegs. I mean Ubisoft literally created Quartz to make money off of cosmetics and their subsequent transactions.
Back to the topic at hand, I suggest spending your time watching or playing another game. A better game.
Same. I hope that comes back.
I have a feeling though that Infinite is very much a FOMO game and will be long into the future. Which if that’s the case, I’m going to need to stay up to date on these things constantly.
Which I hate.
