The armor we all think is Mark VI is actually Mark VII. As seen in this picture http://i.imgur.com/bwF1J.jpg the description states that it is the last series of mainline MJOLNIR Gen 1 armor which is the MARK VII armor.

The last series of MJOLNIR GEN 1 worn by Spartan II supersoldiers was Mark VI.
Spartan IV use the Mark VII armour.
Spartan IV use “Mjolnir Gen2”
I’m 90% sure that is still a variant of MK VI. Mk VII has been seen in exactly one case, used by someone working for ONI. I doubt it was ever technically produced, if you catch my drift. I bet if you scroll to the left a bit, that pic has at labelled as MK VI. The folks at HaloGAF seem to believe so, at least.

That’s Gen II armour though, if you read the description it makes sense. The last GEN I variant worn by Spartan II’s was Mark VI.
