do you think Mark 7 will be in Halo 5/6 because in the books only one spartan has it maybe they get Dr.Halseys plans and finish the Mark 7 Armor and give it to locke so thats why he will be having higher chances of taking down the legendary chief
Only one spartan has MK VII. Naomi something or other.
Also Locke’s Gen-2 Hunter Armour is superior to Gen-1 mk-7
Its possible that Mark VII would be ported over to gen 2 considering how close it was to time Gen 2 came about. Similar to how Mark V got(at least the helmet) got ported to Mark VI and both V and VI made it to gen 2. Mark IV(from Wars) was planned and cut from Halo 4 so one could assume it made it as well. However the only reason I see it not being in Halo 5 is its not known as well to the fan base(namely those who don’t go past the games) also, unless they change it, it looks almost identical to the Mark V from Reach and I can already see threads of people complaining about the broken canon and so on. But for the one who go through the books and other media, it would be nice!
It would be difficult to transcribe a Mjolnir Mark VII as the variant is almost a bass stream-line of any appearance, due to nanobots and hosts preferences. There is no default like other sets… simply put… all armors, GEN1 or GEN2, could be a Mark VII doppelganger, which renders its inclusion as mute.
After the Skirmish on Installation 03, John-117 got his Mark VI [Variant] repaired, most likely by nanobot technology… so really John-117’s armor is on-par or quite close to being a Mark VII, as Catherine Halsey did describe the potential upgrades to the Mark VI, was only minor additions.
I would lobe to see Mark VII,and no one can take down Chief! No one!!
343i should definitely clarify what the Mark VII armor is. (one particular variant among all the GEN2 armors or a platform of its own, etc)
