Thanks to Cosmic OverDose for pointing this out, I managed to get a pretty clear view of it and I decided to upload a screen of it, it is the halo 2/3 version of master chiefs helmet in halo 4!
Update! someone who has played the game posted on Bungie.net that mark VI is in the game!
This isn’t exactly confirmation but it is more likely that the picture is of Mark VI.

Compare the one in the picture to Bungie’s MK.VI and then compare it to 343i’s design used by the Chief. Which one does it look more like?

Yeah but why would just the arm return? Kind of guarantees the whole armour… well it doesn’t, but its still a bit stupid to just have the arm return…

You could have the arm and the current version of chiefs helmet though?
