Mark V B didn't get a Neon Honor Skin

“That’s literally on every armor coating” EXACTLY YOU DUMMY! You it’s on EVERYTHING! Even things we PAY for.

All skins have dirt and ugliness minus the Pro HCS Shop, those are flawless and perfect. And I would have expected armor we pay for to look tight, but they refuse to clean anything for anyone who wants to look nice.

Hell even the Deathly Poison Skin that came with my Razer Kaira Pro has ugly AF scratches and that pisses me off.

I never said we bought anything, but nice try. Did you even read what I said, I even worded in a way to know this.

I guess I worded the Iron Man Skin sentence poorly, but not the others.

DOOM 2016 had this. a slider for dirt and paint scratching, was brilliant alongside the array of colours and armour parts we could choose.

Listen ya doofus. If you paint a rock, it will still have the bumps of a rock. It doesn’t become smooth. They’re applying paint textures to damaged armor. The HCS kits also have scratches on a few visible because they didn’t use matte paint textures. The coatings aren’t the problem, the armor is the problem. Some coatings just hide the damage better. It’s like wearing makeup to hide wrinkles and whatever. People should be asking for damage sliders on armor, to have clean armor to war torn armor. It has nothing to do with the coatings.

DOOM 2016 customization was a masterpiece. It’s cracked out Halo 4 as a car racing game customization system. I wish 343 took that instead

we all do, rather than its flirting with destiny’s shader system and somehow making it worse.

should’ve taken a page from warframe’s pallet system if they wanted a compromise that can work in halo’s favour while giving em some cash.

I would hate the Coating system less if it was Destiny 2’s Shaders, that have a very wide range of colors, finishes, textures, effects, etc, that worked on all armor pieces individually, across cores, weapons, vehicles, and AI. Instead they wanna sell us White 30 times at $20 a pop, and have some of the ugliest color palettes I’ve ever seen, including emblem nameplates. 343 earns a straight 0/10 on color theory. The lead artist should be arrested for art crimes, especially if they designed the map layouts and campaign overworld map. Absolutely abysmal. The multiplayer maps look at least pretty nice, but they are not designed for most modes.

Bungie deserves the credit they get, because damn every single map is gorgeous in their versions of Halo, and every single Destiny 1 and 2 map. They’re just covered in life and personality, super aesthetically pleasing, fun to traverse, and interesting to explore, full of lore and interesting small details. 343 never had a clue. Bungie had cryptic runes and ciphers still some unsolved to this day. 343, big cheeseburger in a cave. They are not even remotely the same when it comes to easter eggs and secrets.

As for the topic relevancy, the Mark V armors in Infinite are a Wish version of the Reach armors. Low details, no lights, incorrect proportions, missing certain aspects, etc. Seriously, what happened to armor lights 343?

Would be nice if when you pay money for a Coating, it is automatically Universal kinda like other F2P games

I predict that the coating will make a return when the Event comes around again at some point, or they will release it in an updated bundle or as a Twitch Prime drop.
