Well to be fair, Dead or Alive 7 could be something that is likely in development for the Xbox Series S/X and Playstation 5.
Who knows.
Perhaps Spartan Nicole-458 may make her return.
Or perhaps some of the other gal Spartans?
- Spartan Kat-B320
- Spartan Rosenda-A344
- Spartan Kelly-S087
- Spartan Linda-S058
- Spartan Alice-S130
- Spartan Laurette Agryna
- Spartan Sarah Palmer
- Spartan Olympia Vale
- Spartan Holly Tanaka
And when that cross-over is unveiled, we see Yoroi receive Hayabusa gear.
Would make for a great crossover experience.
Yeah, I love Hannya masks, and always thought blindfolded ones looked even cooler, so being a mythology dweeb I fell in love with the helmet, wish I could wear it with more than one armor set though.

If that were the case, I kinda want Laurette Agryana… AND Sarah Palmer with an Infinite armor update.
Why?
EPIC SPARTAN IV FIST FIGHTS.
The Old Guard (at least I assume, since Palmer had Gen 2 armor while when Agryana was rescued by Spartan IVs they were in Gen 3 armor)
VS
The New Guard
“I thought you’d be taller” VS “A Spartan is a symbol”
RED HEAD VS BEE ENTHUSIAST!!!

Actually this was another case of 344 misusing assets in cutscenes.
Halo 4 did this with the new design of Master Chief being seen in the Prologue flashback cutscenes.
Season 1’s cinematics show Laurette during the Covenant Invasion of Earth in 2552. Those Spartans should be dressed in MJOLNIR Mark V, Mark V Bravo, or Mark VI; all Gen-I.
X3 It’s frustrating to be reminded that the most consistent thing about 343 Halo is inconsistency.
They can’t release new armor for all the cores all the time.
True, but they can at least keep maintaining the canon ones. Poor Mark V [B} needs more love in general, and hopefully Rakshasa won’t be similarly neglected in the future.
I mean either that or make Armor Coatings cross compatible, at least then the armors all immediately have a little more variety.
Poor Rocksalt didn’t even get basic colors
It only has so much to add, tbh.
You know, if they were to slowly give us Cross Core, I think a good way to do so would be to add in the Mark IV Armor Core and then have a lot of its pieces available on the Mark V Bravo. For example
- Mark IV Helmets
- Mark IV Gloves
- Mark IV Wrists
- Mark IV Utilities
- Mark IV Knee Guards
- Mark IV Visors
After all, the Mark IV Grenadier helmet is the one we see Jorge wearing.

I also want a redo of the Gen 2 armor - call it Gen 2+ or something.
Mostly just cuz it has a vaguely Samus-like silhouette that I like.
Like the chest, forearms, biceps, and legs would be based on a mix between the Recruit and Mark VI Gen 2 more or less. The helmet, shoulders, gloves and kneepads would all be swappable. This would give it a more cohesive look instead of entire limbs being changed to accommodate the shoulders and knees and such like in 4.
Also the undersuit should lose that basketball/hexagonal texture and for most armor the undersuit should be one solid color (usually black or dark grey or something) and just use the secondary color on the undersuit for certain armors specifically.
This will allow for 4 varieties of Spartan IV armor along with the Mark IV armor of the IIs and the V [B] armor of the IIIs.

Isn’t that what the Mark VII is supposed to be?
We are seeing a lot of Gen-2 Helmets and coming to the lineup, as well as some going to the Rakshasa.
True, but despite some serious problems with overcomplicated design the Gen 2 is neat as its own thing to me. Sleeker, slimmer. Again, I’m a sucker for anything with a Samus Power Suit vibe even if it’s a lesser version. And I sincerely think leaning into a sleeker (and more importantly simplified and streamlined) design with less needless details could work well. After all if I recall the Artaius specifies that it’s Gen 2 and Gen 3 compatible, so Gen 2 is still a thing.
