So, I find myself terribly confused. One of the things I was most stoked for when I was stalking the forums up to Halo 5’s launch was the confirmation of Mark V armor being in the game through way of dev interview… but now that the game is out, where is it? In going through all of the armor and helmets you can collect, the only thing I’ve seen that’s even remotely close is the Noble armor variant, and I’ve yet to see anything as far as imagery goes on the internet, something you can usually find within a couple of days of launch either through people who’ve been data mining or no lifing the game. Yes, body looks like Mark V, but where’s the helmet? Devs said that Mark V would be obtainable through REQ packs, so I don’t understand why they would hide it if it is indeed in the game. If not… I’m very much hoping that 343 wasn’t referring to Noble when they said Mark V would be in at launch.

They said that the armor would be available but they never said that it would be available at launch. It is most likely coming as a FREE dlc (I have had to explain to more than a few people that all dlc is free because you know how the forums work and how people get all riled up yelling that “HALO IS BECOMING DESTINY WITH ALL THIS DLC COMING AND ITS GOING TO BE SO EXPENSIVE” sorry for that rant but yeah it’s coming at a later date.

The UNSC upgraded the Mark V to GEN2.

Can’t find the original quote, but it should at least be here on the first REQ update, hopefully when or before forge comes out.

If I get the mark V helmet or body I’ll be equipping it straight away cause I loved Halo Ce and the Mark v armor

They are confirmed, but no one ever said launch. The same goes for the CE pistol, Grav Hammer, and SPKNR.
