So I got the Mark V Alpha set; and after equipping it, I can’t decide whether or not I like it. Some times I look at it and think it’s -Yoink!-. Other times I think it’s bland. Either way, it doesn’t look like the original Mark V. I just don’t know if I like it or not. Do you? What are your guys opinions? I have it equipped today if you want to see it. BTW it has no special marking or detail. It’s just a plain color.
I don’t understand it at all. I think it’s ugly, and from a lore standpoint it makes no sense… I just don’t like it.
I don’t have it but as I would understand it is intended to appear pretty bland. It wouldn’t be very logical for an alpha set to be very complete. It is still alpha.

I don’t have many full sets of armor in this game, but, I would love to have Mk V Alpha to go along with the set of MK IV that I have.
I actually like it and think it is better than the Halo 4 variant. My only gripe is the helmet seems a bit squished and the black points on top should be longer, but at least it doesn’t look like the Halo 4 version where the spartan gained 400 pounds from that ridiculous chestpiece

ITs ugly and without the Original green color option… makes it more ugly.
ehhhh it’s not bad, could be better but hey I bet there are people who like it. It definitely has the Mark V feel to it though.

The mark V alpha is a recreation that closely resembles the original mark V. Proof is in the description of the armor and helmet itself.
It does look very bulk… Yet at the same time, squished.

I’m really disappointed in the helmet design. I’m hoping 343 changes it in a future update, as right now I’m using the Mk. IV helmet as a substitute.
I like it.
It’s cool and all, but personally it’s too… curvy for my tastes. I like the sleek, angular design of the Mark V.

Mk. V Alpha in Halo 5 though… I do not. I’m hoping going by what Bravo said on the last live stream, they got plans for another Mk. V armour set.
I think the Mark VI helmets look better, a lot better. I also happen to have 2 Mark VI legendaries.
