Mark/ Tag players during matchmaking.

I been play Halo Reach and Gears of War 3 lately and I noticed that GOW has a little system of marking or tagging the other team so you can see that player your teammate marked or tagged.

This system works really well for players with out a mic and it helps with keeping track of where the team is. I personally think it would work great for Halo 4 because it will be a fast pace game.

When I play Halo Reach I have a problem with my team mates with out mics, in party chat, and explaining where the team is. So if you can easily mark out the other team it can help with matches online.

I am not trying to push GOW in Halo 4 but I think that system would work quite well for Halo’s universe. This is a video of the Gears marking system. Here

What do you guys think?

If they provided an incentive to win, people would communicate.

As far as I can see, this would give people more reason to stay in party chat.

The lack of teamwork in Halo is incredible b/c so many players prefer to talk with their friends in party chat instead of random players on their team. Allowing players some sort of way of communicating w/o a mic will work wonders.

Instead of just stopping at marking enemies, go the full Battlefield 3 route by allowing players to mark objectives, vehicles, etc. as well.

Spartans would mark their enemies in the novels so it’s not like it’s not Halo.

I am all for new additions to add some new experiences, but I say no thanks

That would be great for BTB! The ability to show where the Hog is and other vehicles would be great.

Seems a bit trivial, especially since we have radars. Bf3 does too but theirs is based on firing, not movement.

And gears 3 has no radar
