So, i’ve been a little disconnected from halo media, games and waypoint for the last few weeks thanks to gears of war 4. I logged in today and saw a lot of people wearing it, what did I missed? everybody is getting their collection done? did some double RP weekend happened? Some special pack?
We got the 15th Anniversary pack which came with those armors and 4 each of CE Magnum, Spnkr, and Halo 2 Beam Rifle. If you had the armor you would get a legendary boost.

Didn’t you get one? Then again you said you haven’t played halo Becuase of gears of war unless you were waypoint maybe?

I use mk5 alpha body and mk4 helmet

What, people can’t wear it to celebrate Halo’s 15th anniversary for a little while? I know that’s why I’m wearing it. After this weeks over, I most likely won’t ever put it on again.
And I still don’t care how your armor looks like 
People can wear whatever armor they want. I think its one of the best armor personally.

The worst part is the noobs are gonna only wear it until they finish silvers in a year.

A special pack happened. It gave you this armor. You should have one to open for yourself.
I worked really hard for this armor. Now everyone has it sigh. Well, at least I have my Achilles. 
I was to occupied playing dishonored 1 because I want to complete it in every way before I get dishonored 2 one of these ways that I would have to beat the game is a 100 percent and ghost no kill run so I guess I won’t be getting dishonored 2 for a while

Reminds me of something funny. I never got into Halo until I bought the MCC back at the end of 2015. When I went to go customize my Spartans for the individual games, I discovered that everything was unlocked. That included the Hayabusa armor. It was unlocked so hard, that there was a separate variant with the katana on its back. One day, I was sitting in a physical science lab at college, talking to a classmate who was a Halo fan back when Bungie ran the show. He told me about how he spent two separate weekends eating sparingly and playing with friend for hours to unlock every piece of the armor. Sure enough, he ended up doing it and proudly wore his armor in multiplayer matches. I then told him that I got the armor by default in the MCC, and he was jokingly frustrated that he worked so hard to unlock the armor and then I waltzed in and got it handed to me just for showing up. Just when I thought the discussion was over, he threw a curveball. Looked me dead in the eyes and smirked as he said,
“At least I earned it.”
Couldn’t argue with him there. I never knew the struggle and I never will. I was a rookie who got treasure for free. In fact, I got the Mark IV armor in a REQ Pack for the anniversary event, so at least you can tell me that you’ve earned the armor while I had it handed to me!

This is why I like Achilles, so no random noob can just luck into it

Noob gear is like Braton MK1 from warframe. Cosmetics don’t have any sort of skill level. (Bar Recon in Halo 3 before they open released it, and Helioskrill in the 5 BETA)
Everyone deserves their fair change to have some great armor for their spartan.
The game has been out for over a year and you people are complaining about armor that you could have had for 6 months or even more being given to all players? Pretty pathetic. Use the Arcadia skin if you really want to be a special snowflake with Mark IV armor.
I for one am glad that the whole community can now wear a lovely, badass armor set.
