I got the achievment for beating cairo station but I didn’t get the armor in halo 5.
I’m pretty sure you can only have this armor by opening Gold Req Pack, so play in H5.
But I think for Mark VI GEN1, you can unlock it with something like an achievement, it’s my first armor in H5, and I didn’t bought it

Did you just beat it? I think it was time-gated; you could only get it free for completing it before the release of Halo 5. I could be wrong though…
Unfortunately H5 (to the best of my knowledge) does not award any special Armors for beating the game like they did in H4. ALL customizations are gotten from opening REQ packs… Well… All except Achilles… That has its own prerequisites

You could unlock Mark VI [GEN I], Mark VI [GEN I] Scarred, and Helioskrill for Halo 5: Guardians by accomplishing certain things in MCC. I had them all on day one, but as someone mentioned above I am not sure if that was a limited time event or not.
I believe you are still able to receive the armor from completing the halos on legendary to my understanding
I played one mission of halo 2 and it didn’t work, but I hopped on into odst through the mcc for a few levels and both the helmets and the armors showed up in my inventory. I played on heroic in co-op for both games.
Tl:Dr it still works, you don’t need to do it on legendary, if it doesn’t show up just exit out of the mcc and launch it again,
