My son was playing Master Chief collection with a friend at our house, and earned the achievements Cairo Station & The Journey begins. According to a friend, this entitled him to Mark 6 armor. FYI - His friend had provided the disk that they were playing on that day (Master Chief collection).
It did not show up either in the Collection (at that time) or his own copy of Halo 5 since - so we called the Xbox One team who cleared the persistent storage and reset things so the Mark 6 could download properly. They assured us the armor would carry over to his version of Halo 5. Nothing is there 2 days later despite assurances by the Xbox One rep that this would work.
Any ideas on this? I feel silly asking - but he’s been pretty sad about the situation and thought I would check.
I’m really sorry to hear about your sons situation and even more sorry to say I’m just chiming in to tell you you’re not alone. I have both those achievements on the master chief collection and do not have the armor unlocked on halo 5 either. Not sure what’s up, but it always makes me feel just a little better to know other people are having the same issue so I thought I should let you know I’m having the same issue.

If you wanted to get the Mark 6 armor in halo 5 you would have had to beat the campaign on legendary before or during the halo 5 beta. So I think your son will just have to unlock from req packs. sorry you could not unlock it.
sorry for the mix up. I meant to say that he would have had to get the those achievements before or during the halo 5 beta. The mark 6 armor will not unlock in halo 5 if he got the achievements after the beta, The beta started in December of 2014 and ended in January of 2015. So if he did not get those achievements before or during those dates it will not unlock for him. Sorry again about your situation.
