In my opinion Mark 5 armor (the original Halo armor) should be included in every game. It’s a player style that should never be left out. Please, someone tell me the Mark 5 will make a return in H5 multi.
I hate the Mark V armor. It doesn’t look militaristic or futuristic, and I can’t take Master Chief seriously with it. That’s just my opinion, though.
I would atleast like to see it in Guardians
Yes, I LOVE the Mark V. But if they put it in, they better give it it’s iconic bulkiness.
The skinny Halo 4 undersuit made it look constipated.
The Mark V is the best.
I makes me wonder why not just have the entire Mark armor series in game for everyone’s amusement.
The Mark V was added in Halo 4 (not in MCC unfortunatly) and Mark VI is already in the beta so they will probably bring back MKV aswell. At least … I hope.
I hope they will change the colors and aspects of the armors too, Spartans still looks weird to me since Halo 4. I don’t know how to explain it but they don’t look as awesome as Halo 3 or Reach. I’m not really talking about designs (even if I like the old design better) but in terms of graphics, render. Maybe it’s the textures, or the lack of shadows. The colors looks like toys in multiplayer, I didn’t had this feeling with John in Campaign wich looks good. I don’t know but for me, something looks wrong with them, without being able to say what.
For what I saw in the early access beta (and I know it’s a beta), the Spartans looks better but there’s still something wrong with their colors and the rendering of the armors. They are more pink than red too me.

This X10. The armour plating needs to look more like metal, like Chief’s does in your avatar. Make the thrusters look more powerful too, so they don’t look like some fairy bull -Yoink-.

Yep exactly.
About thrusters, in Halo 4 they looked different the first time we saw them in video compare to the final effect. And the first effect was better in my opinion, I think it was in the first Spartan Ops gameplay. I’d like them to be more like that in Halo 5.
That Mark 5 helmet is just so iconic to me. I don’t hate the Mark 6 or anything I mean progress is meant to happen but I Love the M5 so much more. It’s an option that has to be included for multi for me to truly love my characters look. I honestly don’t like any of the other helmets for any of the games.
I personally wouldn’t mine Mark-IV (The version that the omega team weres in HWs), Mark-V, Mark-V/B (Noble six’s armor), Mark-VI, and Mark-VI Gen2 (The kind chief weres in Halo 4) We need a MJOLNIR timeline to play with!

I made a thread discussing that, actually. But I like the sound effect for them in Halo 4; It feels heavy and powerful.

That would be amazing to have 6’s helmet in Halo 5. Imagine all of the ‘Noble 6 survived’ machinimas people would make, though.
I want to see Mark V armor along with Noble Sixes armor those to armors are just Iconic
Blah, regardless of everyone’s personal opinion of how they like the armor, I do feel it would be good to pay homage to the legacy. I probably wouldn’t use it, but it would be nice to have that option.

Noble 6 looked badass B)

same
Halo Anniversary got the Mark V’s look right, Halo 4 got the proportions right. You can’t be an effective soldier if you can’t move. If you’ve ever seen someone cosplay in an unaltered Mark V costume they can hardly move. They can’t even move their hands to their face to eat a sandwich. I’d like Mark V to return as well.

Where Mark I has just an up-armoured colander for a helmet and a codpiece made from a kidney dish and duct tape?
It’s a armor customization option, and it’s cool. We need that back.
I 100% agree even if this thread is outdated by 4 years
