Now that marines can heal buildings, air, and ground vehicles I believe marines are superior to Nightingales.
- Marines are far cheaper
2 )Marines build faster
- does not require an airpad meaning more room for other buildings
- can be used offensively
Obviouslty Nightingales have their advantages too such as being an air unit they can fly over things and have a unique special ability to block attacks. I feel that marines out way Nightingales
Marines can’t heal infantry

That, and their heal is super slow.
And they can’t fly.
And they can’t heal 3 different targets at the same time.
In high level games, people will usually build a few of them if the game go’s on long enough.
You need to remember nightingales can also detect cloaked units/buildings

They’re heal on condors is actually pretty good. I’d assume scarabs too
So what I’m getting is no one here prefers marines over nightingales like me? lol

I never build infantry anyway except marines which are expendable because their build time is 4 seconds with Logistics III
Infantry is typically used to support armor, so seems like it would make sense. Maybe a Scorpion/Wolverine grouped with Marines, which would give you detect and healing, plus offensive ability of Marines. The only problem I have with this strategy is that armor seems real weak to me in this game.

That is a good combo. I usually use marines to support an ally Scarab or Condor. Not to forget that marines are a pretty decent anti-air with their Rockets upgrade
