Marines should have different faces in halo 6

I just watched HALO 4 forward into dawn and it made me think we don’t care when marines die in the game. I mean there all the same in the game and all male
so I think HALO 6 should add different looking marines. some male some female. What do you think?

In reach 2, and 3 (don’t remember 4) there are a number of female troopers and marines, plus, they also all have different facial features.

I remembered that after I posted this.

I’d love if they took a bunch of fans, scanned their faces into a database to be paired with recordings those fans reading a ton of lines to be used in the game… assuming said fans can actually read lines and do a few good screams and such.

Then in the next Halo game, each time they load a level with a bunch of Marine allies or Insurrectionist enemies (you never know) a random number generator will randomly pick a bunch of Marine models from that pool of fans to be in that level.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSS

I’d even take it one step further and include names for each one (either computer generated or based on fan/dev names) and do something in the end credits about “all the men and women who died along the way” through Halo 6 during your campaign, and maybe put in some faces like Trigger said. Make you FEEL it.

343 If your reading this DO IT!!!

Genius.
Imagine being one of those fans, loading up the campaign and seeing yourself. I would try to get my marine self as many kills as possible.

In the original trilogy they had a few notable and recurring named marines, like Marcus Stacker and Chips Dubbo. There’s also Banks and Reynolds, and several others whose names I don’t remember. I like to refer to these marines as The B Team.

And that fan marine idea is amazing, btw.

I wish they had recurring marine teams, so yoi get to know them properly and actually care when they die. The only team of non spartans that doesn’t die during the game that I can remember is alpha-9, and the survivors are (Halo: New Blood Spoilers) spartan ivs.
it’d be cool to have a marine team that keeps popping up and helping you, but in one mission during the middle they die trying. It’d be like it’s described in the novels: your friends are dead but you can’t think about that you have to carry on with the mission. It would be a nice change from ‘every major death is in a cutscene’ where you have time to come to terms with it before carrying on.

So I tweeted a screenshot of that idea to Bravo and he liked it.

How bout your moms face?
Oh wait they already used that for the Prophets in Halo 2.

…joking.

The man. The legend. Chips Dubbo.
He needs to make a return.

Ha ha ha!

I love this Idea. However, depending on which console it releases, I’m not sure if it would be easy programming wise.
