So I don’t plan on getting the Campain yet until co-op is added but I was watching a friend playing the campaign on stream over Twitch.
Anyways this is what I saw on stream He rescued some Marines, and they were following him however unline in most of the other Halo titles where they just follow you, it’s as if you have them not to follow but more like a path finder, He was running around and jumped a cliff we weren’t expecting them to though because we saw them at the bottom of the cliff as if they were looping around to get to Chief, so He went down to them we expected them to well… Follow and end the path was Chief was at nearby them, but nope instead they literally followed the pathway Chief took and circled all the way around the exact path my friend took fell off the cliff and back to where they were at and at Chiefs side. That’s when we discovered"Ok the A.I. path system is a bit broken, why aren’t set to just follow??" We both thought it was hilarious though but kinda dumb too how it was set up to more of a follow the player’s pathway rather than just follow the player.
May want to look into it a bit 343i
We also found it a bit disappointing that the marines won’t turn on you if you shoot them and they won’t die either. Because that was the fun part of Halo as well when we were bored and just messing around in-game lol.
