Right now the Marines in Warzone do really do much besides making funny comments, shooting dead bodies, and annoying enemy Spartans. I think that you should be able to trade weapons with the Marines, and make them get in your rec vehicle that you just called in. This could make them more useful because you can use them as a mini “strike team” by taking them in a scout warthog and attack an enemy base. Or you could give a Marine a rocket launcher and put him on the back of a mongoose, creating a fast moving tank.
I like these ideas. More diverse marines would spice things up for sure.
I’ll take anything that expand’s warzone to be fair. Warzone feeling like a warzone is fine by me. I would like marines with different weapons and gear. And 2 games now without feamle marines, a discussion for another day maybe.
They are there as a minor inconvenience while you storm the base. Plus it’s fun to pop their heads off lol

I know that but it would be cool if they had other functions as well.
The Marine’s grenade skills though…maybe just remove their weapons and have them throw infinite nades like a Gungoose rider.
I lime the suggestions. The marines aren’t that helpful at the moment. Although it’s fun to spartan charge them out of the armouries!
I remember when in Reach I always gave rockets to Marines, because they had unlimited ammo.
I like this idea I think they should also add in ODST that will drop in near base when it is being taken maybe. I mean there needs to be some with ODST helping.

You know what would be interesting? Spartan Ai instead of marines. How about Warzone firefight against those AI Spartans in an endless wave? Just thinking out loud.
maybe a random marine charge to an enemy base 1 per game and has a 755 chance for the losing team to get it that they will charge one of the enemy controlled bases they will target the one in one center and if the enemy team does not have it they will attack an armorey and if they only have home base well you have an army of 5o marines, make it count
The soldier AI is programmed specifically for the bases. It would not be easy to program them to interact with the whole map. Maybe it could be done if it was a req that was programmed to follow 1 Spartan.

Couldn’t they just take the code from the Marines in the campaign? Although your idea gives me an idea. Maybe you could get a common rec card where you can call an ODST to your position, and they can be your wingman or something. I still think you should be able to give the Marines better weapons because they aren’t that good as of right now.

The fight for control of a structure always starts with a barrage of grenades :’) R.I.P. the first person who walks in.
Specialized Marines would be cool and would diversify the A.I. that are prominent in Warzone. Oorah!
Yeah I agree. Marines don’t do much in warzone.
