Marines for Firefight

Is it possible to have marine ai run around as an enemy wave in firefight, warzone and warzone assault take an abysmal amount of time to find lobbies and if we can get them in firefight we can work on getting the marine commendation kills for our company commendations. Not to mention the new gameplay elements that marine enemy waves can add, and if you dont want them to be marines, you could always refer to them as separatist fighters.

That’s not going to happen…

Probably be better to build maps that are smaller for firefight that can expand if players join while the game is in progress. Not something that would happen for Halo 5 considering it’s lifecycle stage.

Yea, no

Only if it was a version of invasion where you could play as elites but with more elements from warzone mixed in.

They’re not going to add Marines because you want to farm them for a commendation. Anyway, they’re done with those types of updates with H5 so you’d have better luck with that suggestion for Infinite.

It’s too late to add something like this. Maybe in Infinite though if WZFF is brought back.

It was a general post simply asking, I realize the likelihood is very low, to impossible, but 343 has revisited halo mcc years after it was presumed dead in the water for quality of life, and additional content. Plus it’s not just for farming marines. Regular Warzone is essentially dead. More people play the WZFF than regular Warzone. The last week I have attempted to play warzone and I sit in a lobby for looking for players for 15 mins til I get the boot saying now one could be found.

They’d get killed in 5 secs.

I had recently thought about something similar, like the Marines taking up player slots in matchmaking with a randomized emblem if it takes longer than a certain amount of time. Each “player” would be a “Company”, and would consist of 8 Marines that utilized UNSC-specific loadouts, and could vary between each Marine. These Companies would assist the current player(s), and their kills/contribution would add up to their Company’s total score. Depending on if other players join while the match is ongoing, the Companies would merge to become their own faction (Insurrectionists) that are hostile to all other factions in the game. Once killed as Insurrectionists, they would not be able to respawn, and could be listed as an optional objective that lists the number of enemy Marines still alive, so they do not affect the completion of the match.
