I don’t know if it’s just me, but the Marines in the Bungie Halos were a lot more talkative and had more humor to them. They would make sly comments every so often, and add a little humor to the gameplay. This goes along with the Easter eggs as well; you can see all types of weird stupid Easter eggs in Halo 3 that kinda makes you go, “huh?” I want this back with Halo infinite, where the gameplay and story is very grounded, serious, and weighted, while if you explore more into the game you find tropes with bits of humor intertwined, like Easter eggs and Marine quotes. Let me know your favorite Halo Easter eggs and Marine quotes, and comment on how Halo Infinite could reciprocate those ro better them.
I miss the recurring marines Chips Dubbo and Stacker 
You should check out some of the rare marine dialogue in H4. I can’t remember the name of the video on youtube, but there’s about nine minutes worth of marine dialogue. Some of it is funny and some of it is rich with canonical references.
