Hello all,
As I have been playing warzone, both with friends and random companies of Spartans, I have found myself alone in a warthog from time to time. When I am playing with some well known friends, I can usually get one of my buddies to hop in my warthog. On the other hand, when I am playing with a bunch of randoms there are times when I can’t get anyone to hop in my warthog. I have a lot of warthog reqs and I will get warthogs from random vehicle reqs as well. It is not nearly as satisfying having to stop, get in the back, shoot and then drive away quick when I get shot. What I am suggesting is to allow marines to hop in my vehicle, when I honk at them, and either drive me or shoot for me. Just like the campaign in the halo of old.
I know there are a few things to work out such as marines only being one headshot to die, but I would prefer that over not having a gunner on my vehicle. Let me know what you think! Please ‘Like’ this post if you want to see marines in vehicles.
Thanks,
mynamesnottim
Being a gunner is way too risky on 'hogs unfortunately.
with the awesome Marine accuracy having them hop-in could be beneficial though.
That would be a nice feature

That is true. The one headshot kill would be a good trade for their accuracy.

Give them a sniper rifle.
If you’ve ever done Mission 2 on Combat Evolved’s Legendary/LASO, you’ll know the Marine I’m talking about. He is a true saviour for that mission.
Headshots for days!

Never forget. He’ll always be one of the best marine buddies in any Halo in my books.
Park your warthog directly outside of any armory without a man cannon exit and you’ll find a gunner in no time.
Park your warthog near the req station of an armory there is a man cannon exit and you’ll also find a gunner in no time.
Lots of people out there are willing to gun because of commendations, you just have to know where to sit yourself and wait.

I’ve definitely parked and waited before, but there are still times when nobody hops in. In a warzone assault match I don’t want to sit around and wait. It could be the difference between losing a base and winning the game. It would be cool if a marine could hop in, and then if I do find someone the marine would just hop out.
It would make scout warthogs a lot more worthwhile for sure. I have a ton of scout hogs(50 or more) if a marine hopped in the passenger seat I would actually think about using one.
