Marine support? What about ODST drops also?

I am super excited to see marine support in Halo Reach FF being added but what about ODSTs?

Could it be scripted so ODST drop down like the Covies in drop pods?

The go into settings and say ODST drop pods so occasionally, helljumpers and marines will join us in battle.

Wasn’t there some ODST in that preview?

I heard him say marines but I am not sure.

For marines they should be dropped off via Pelican.

The ‘Marine Support’ you are talking about are actually ODSTs. Well, that’s what the trailer showed anyway. And they drop in via Pelican.

BTW, ODSTs are Marines…

There are no Marines in Firefight.

There will be friendly ODST A.I. occupying the new Installation 04 map though, but ONLY in this map, none others.

they were ODST’s, and if you look at the video again, theres a pelican in the game so.

Okay see I heard marines and thought it was Marines becuase ODSTs are different than standard marines.

But, it would be cool if they dropped from drop pods also becuase they are Orbital Drop Shock Troopers.

Well if you watch the BTS video recently released you can see a Warthog with a gunner getting dropped off by a Pelican. I am not sure if this is how they always spawn or if this was at the beginning of a game or what.

I REALLY hope it isn’t just the beginning or it would be a HUGE let down.

There are ODSTs, as for drop pods… one can hope.

Nah, they drop in via Pelicans every round I think.

My theory is that it is based off of numbers. If you get down to one or no allies remaining perhaps they’ll send you the reinforcements at the end of that round.

Yeah, this, I am assuming they only come in when they are all dead, or else it would be slightly easy mode.
