its nice thatthay buffed other units and i buy it that nade nerf was nececery but why tweak with assault rifle dps…and buff grunts so much i mean marines cost 150 and grunts 100 there need to be a power diffrence between them cuz grunts are now not only cheaper and faster to build but now are they toe to toe with marines and thats not good at all atleast leave the marine dps so they dont suck at all

From a realistic standpoint lore wise, plasma weaponry is much more effective than it is currently shown in halo wars, rather than buff the damage for grunts to a crazy level, by nerfing are they are bringing the damage of the two to a similar state, without them being over powered
yeah i get it but why put marines to 3 pop and 150 supply and grunts 100 with 2 pop with the same output and effectiveness on them both
The marine nerf really isn’t that big of a deal. They are still going to be an effective unit but no longer the very powerful unit they are now. Their nerf, along with the Hellbringer buff, now makes it so a UNSC player who wants to go infantry will actually need and can use all the infantry.
If a Banished player is going infantry then a mix of marines, hell bringers and snipers will still most likely when that engagement.
The grunts desperately needed a buff as they are quite underpowered imo and I don’t think this will be bad in anyway.
marines will still be stronger toe to toe…the idea is that marines are a stronger unit but grunts in numbers will out due marines…before it seemed 1 marine could take 4 grunts…now it will be like 1 marine is equal to 2 grunts…we really wont know any of this for sure until the patch comes out but marines still have grenades which still puts them light years ahead of grunts
